Gosford R4 – Grade 5 515m
IBROX ROCKS (1) is a tardy beginner who has found the line strongly for a win and second at his last two runs. If he can start cleanly, I expect him to make a strong run mid-race along the rails and be hard to hold out. The $4+ on offer looks huge. SUZIE’S FACE (4) had no luck last start but was good enough to win three on the trot over the 515m last month. She can find the front and is the one they need to run down in the straight. The pair can battle out the finish.

Warragul R5 – FFA 400m
GUNAI OUTLAW (1) led all the way at Bendigo to win in best of the nighttime last start. He was an impressive winner at his only run over the Warragul 400m trip back in April and will get all the favours in the run from box 1. I expect him to ping the lids and lead all the way. PAUA OF OSCAR (3) is a class chaser who has won close to half his career starts and will be the margin abbreviator. Can he navigate his way through traffic and power late? I’m not so sure and am happy to take him on!

Townsville R5 – FFA 498m
STRATFORD has won five in a row at Townsville, all in impressive style and draws the rails tonight. He jumps well and can lead all the way. You know the drill! INCONSEQUENTIAL (8) ran on strongly for second behind STRATFORD last start and is capable of a better beginning this week. She can make a race of it.
