Racing writer, JUSTIN DEVINE, looks at tonight’s meetings and singles out his top three greyhound racing tips for tonight’s Sandown Park, Albion Park and Murray Bridge meetings. Good luck, punters!
Sandown Park R6 – McKenna Memorial Heat 2 595m
CHRISTO BALE (6) has won seven of his last eight and has been airborne at the Meadows in recent weeks. He is racing with great confidence and just needs to step cleanly to get the prize tonight. JAYVILLE SLICK (5) has the speed to find the front from the squeezebox and will give his backers a great sight out in the lead. He is the knockout chance.
Tip: CHRISTO BALE @ $1.70
Albion Park R6 – Brisbane Cup Heat 520m
TIGGERLONG TONK (1) is a prolific winner with 39 wins and 27 placings from 83 career starts and has drawn the coveted box 1 for his heat of the Brisbane Cup. Put simply, he is the best dog in the race and should power past his rivals mid-race. Bad luck looks his main danger. Ex-Tasmanian WYNBURN SHEEAN (2) has won his last two since moving to the Tony Brett kennel in Brisbane and is ready to be tested against the best. The pair can battle out the finish.
Tip: TIGGERLONG TONK @ $1.90
Murray Bridge R7 – Grade 5 455m
SENTINEL McLAREN made the most of his box 1 draw last week, beginning well and railing strongly in the straight to get the prize. This race looks no harder and he has once again got the perfect inside box. He can make it back to back wins at a nice price. SUDDEN FORCE (7) should find the front and give them something to chase. The last 20 metres looks his biggest test. Include in exotics.
