Wednesday Winners – June 7th

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s midweek meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for the five best bets of the day. Good luck, punters!

Interesting race with this well-bred newcomer COMMEMORATIVE being the object everyone wants to look at. She’s by I Am Invincible and her trial win recently was impressive. Add to that this doesn’t look overly strong, with maybe POWER BALLAD the best of the rest. She may just win this easily so the quinella bet with Power Ballad is the best play. Big show.

Bet Now COMMEMORATIVE

I love to follow horses on the rise and this FLASHING STEEL appeals as the one here. He has now won his past two starts and has stepped up and improved each time. Same grade here but carrying more weight. Given his improvement curve of late I think he gets home again from CINQUE TORRI who chased him home last start too.

Bet Now FLASHING STEEL

I love getting on a dual accepter and LUCIFER’S REWARD here is that horse. Looked out-graded in Sydney but here he looks nicely placed especially with the 3kg claim. Has found his racing legs winning his past two in style. MINTAKA LAD is smart too so they form the quiz Ella bet.

Ok, here we go again. A smart one but resuming here. I like DEEP SNOW who has drawn perfectly and does have a good first up record. But more importantly loves it wet and the track will be very damp. RAMONES could be the one to beat so quinella them.

Bet Now DEEP SNOW

I suspect everyone will look past MCGEEHAN because he has a big weight and his form on paper looks poor. So expect about $14, and that is a good price. I’ll have some fo that. He is 3rd up here, loves this trip, more importantly was beaten 5 lengths in a much harder race last start and he is a dab hand in the wet. Well worth a wager.

Bet Now MCGEEHAN
