Horse Racing Tips – Best Bets Wednesday

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for the five best bets of the day. Good luck, punters!

 

Two horses who clashed last start face off and look the ones here. They are WHATADILEMMA and GENETIC FREAK. On that day the latter got the better but he was having his 2nd start at a mile. Whatadilemma was stepping up to a mile for the first time and only wilted the final 100m. On top of that he meets the other bloke 1kg better so I suspect he turns the table. Quinella bet.

Fascinating affair. I have to follow the money here. So, I’m on THE ART OF FLYING. The 3kg allowance for apprentice Celine Gaudray is a big help and he is back in class here. Is coming off a plodding 7th of 12 last start but it too was in better grade. The weight of money has been impressive so get on is my advice.

Tip: THE ART OF FLYING

I like the look of the top weight here in BRAZEN LADY. This is a competitive field chock full of improving fillies but none have actually performed at the level Brazen Lady has. She can carry weight and is tough. Plus, she is super fit and gets a welcome 3kg claim. GREAT TASTE was strong last start but in maiden grade. Quinella them.

Tip: BRAZEN LADY

I really liked Demiana here but when she came out the focus went to FLYING STEP. But only if you look past that poor run when resuming on a big track last start. Has some talent and last prep did win maiden impressively. Suited here if she puts her best foot forward. Is a $33 shot so back each way. Helps that she is trained here too.

Tip:  FLYING STEP 

Pretty open affair with many chances but I really enjoyed the way SAILOR hit the line in a stronger race last start when resuming. Lots of depth here but gets a drop in class and an allowance. Whenever you see that combo you should get on. COMME BELLA FILLE is 2nd up, and won 2nd up last prep so can run 2nd.
