Warwick Farm R2 – Open 2YO Hcp 1400m
This will be interesting. From this outside gate I see the filly INHIBITIONS coming across and leading and setting a solid tempo. Nash Rawiller rides and there is no better rider on front-runners. I suspect she turns in front with stablemate ROUSSILLON and LLEWELLYN coming home hard late.
Tip: INHIBITIONS
Warwick Farm R3 – Mdn Plate (3YO) 1100m
Fascinating affair. Looking forward to this race because this filly who hasn’t raced for nearly a year named GOLDEN QUEEN just may go boom and win by a space. In her short but injury interrupted career she has placed behind three x Gr 1 winners In Secret, Jacquinot and Communist. Leads all the way for mine today.
Tip: GOLDEN QUEEN
Sandown R1- BM64 (3YO+) 1600m
This is hardly a field of champions or even smart horses, but it’s even so is competitive. And the market is divided. Which shocks me a tad because DEFINING looks the play. She is coming off a city placing at this level in a bigger field where she was last for home. It was at The Valley, so gets far more straight today to finish her race off with. Quinella with RIVAPORT. Big show.
Tip: DEFINING
Warwick Farm R6- BM72 Hcp (3YO+) 1400m
This is a rise in class for DEMIANA who narrowly had her colours lowered last start but she is a filly on the improve and that run will be a significant step forward for her. Bad draw here so probably settles back. Lots of money has come for her overnight. Bush horse RUNNING BEAR can grab 2nd.
Tip: DEMIANA
Sandown R7 – BM70 (3YO+ ) Hcp 1400m
I love horses coming back in grade and we see one here in THERE YOU GO. Added bonus, he gets a 3kg claim too from in form apprentice Jett Stanley. Probably sits back in about 6th spot to the bend, then peels wide and charges late. I suspect he gets the prize from LADY COURT who resumes here.
