Warwick Farm R 1 – 3YO Mdn 1400m
This bloke SCIENTIST should jump and run here. And around here he will be three clear as they turn and win comfortably. Last start he was pressured on debut for the lead all the way and folded a little late to run 3rd. On paper it was a super run. Here he can lead without pressure and do sectionals that suit. I really like him to obliterate these.
Tip: SCIENTIST
Sandown R3 – Class 1 Hcp (3YO+) 1400m
I know he steps up in grade but the way this RICKIE RULES stormed home to win on debut out of town was quite impressive. He may well have improved off that and if so, he could go boom late over the top of them at massive odds. DREAM OF VENUS is the obvious danger so that’s the quinella bet.
Tip: RICKIE RULES
Ipswich R4 – Class 2 (Females) Hcp 1200m
Winning form is best form and this mare LADY RAIN appeals. She was on pace here to win a maiden last start. This is harder but to counter that, she is fitter. On speed runners suited here.
Tip: LADY RAIN
Warwick Farm R6 – BM72 Hcp (3YO+) 1000m
What a cracking midweek field. NASTURTIUM who looked like being a top liner when he led all the way to win his opening 3 races, resumes here off a strong trial win and overnight backing. He should be hard to catch but I like EBHAAR. There is a touch of quality about her and she needed that first up 5th. As a 2YO she was a stakes winner and there is reason to believe she is approaching that level again.
Tip: EBHAAR
Warwick Farm R7 – BM72 Hcp 1300m
Everything that wins has to keep stepping up in grade and that’s the case for this long-striding ultra, ultra impressive son of So You Think named THINK ABOUT IT. He has toyed with his rivals in 2 starts to date, winning as he pleased. This is much tougher but he looks to have finishing power. He’s on his home track too which suits perfectly.
