Horse racing tips – Wednesday 10th November

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Murray Bridge meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 3 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 3m 850m to w/p, true, entire circuit

There is going to be a fair bit of speed in this. FRENCH FIELDS won a 1000m maiden last start in fast time and has been heavily backed to take this one out too. Similarly, the mare VIRTUE is a front-runner and carves out good time normally. She is coming back in class for this. Probably leads. But then there is SHELLSHOCKED who is 2nd up. He too lead all the way when he won his maiden at Strathalbyn but from this gate today he probably can’t find the front early. Last start in a better race than this he sat 4th to the bend and was beaten 3 lengths in very fast time. Has been backed overnight to win this.

Lots of chances here. As you would expect from a field of 14.  I think it may be safe to follow patterns in this and we see two very strong ones for the gelding MUFFLA. Firstly, he has firmed with the corporates overnight in a rather solid way, opening yesterday at $4.80 and by 9am was into $3.70. That sort of move must be respected. And the second thing, an even stronger one for mine, is the race record. He has raced 3 times as a 2nd up prospect and they have been his best 3 runs of his 11 race career. Keep safe. Terrific contest.

Tip: MUFFLA @ $3.70

I really like the look of EQUAL BALANCE and in form rider Kayla Crowther in this. Collectively they have the form and the gate and the horse has met with pleasing wagering overnight. After easily winning a BM56, he stepped up to a BM 62 at balaclava and was 3rd, then last start at this exact level, again at Balaklava, he flashed home to grab 2nd beaten a nose. Looks the one.

Tip: EQUAL BALANCE @ $3.30
