Horse Racing Tips & Previews – Warwick Farm Wed 1st Dec

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Warwick Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 7 races. Good luck, punters!

Rail: Out 3m entire

Track: Heavy 7

Warwick Farm R1   Mdn Hcp 1000m

14:20 (AEST)

This looks like a competitive, high-class maiden field. SIR CRACKLE looks back in dashing style. was disappointing in all 3 runs on debut prep when backed each occasion, although his last start when 3rd in this grade was meritorious. Two trials have been slashing this campaign.

KIPSBAY looked pretty handy in a recent trial win too. Last campaign did nothing on race day on debut then put away. But looked very sharp winning this trial.

MISS GLENN gets a great draw and might be very smart. Unraced but has been backed overnight. And, did win her trial recently very impressively so rates highly.

Tip: SIR CRACKLE @ $6

Warwick Farm R2 – Mdn Hcp (3YO+) 1200m

14:55 (AEST)

Hard to look past BARTOSELLI here. He has the form on the board have placed in this grade at his past 3 runs. Has raced twice this time up and is now super fit. Looks like a bit of pace in the race so he probably jumps and slots in 3rd to the bend. Then unleashes.

GULF OF PANAMA is interesting. Is yet to race but just toyed with a trial field a few weeks ago. Watch market moves as this one may be very sharp.

RETRIEVAL was placed and well backed this level last two before spell. Will no doubt strip considerably better for the recent trial outing and will be heavily supported again here.

Tip: GULF OF PANAMA @ $7

Warwick Farm R3 – BM64 (3YO +) 2130m

15:30 (AEST)

Because this is basically a highlight for plodding stayers, I think ZUDIN rates well. Hughie rides and he does like to get back and run on. So the trip suits. He’s fit and won a similar race two starts back.

MICRONA comes into this race well at the weights following the 3kg claim. He’s trained here and racing well. Beat a similar field two starts back also.

OCEANIC FLASH might take this race up and if left alone in front should take catching. Is a winner at past two starts so can stay and gets a welcome 2kg claim.

Tip: ZUDIN @ $2.60

Warwick Farm R4 – BM64 (3YO +) Hcp 1600m

16:05 (AEST)

So hard to work these races out with a wet track but this bloke is exciting. SEGRILL is a consistent mare at this level and has actually placed at a slightly level class recently. Trained here. Respect.

BET RED is interesting. Bush apprentice Amy mcLucas comes to town to ride him. He runs on hard and is 3rd up.  Is even fitter now.

This is a big step up in grade for AL SAHARA but the way she joined in and just took control of her Scone maiden last start was impressive. Can place here.

Tip: SEGRILL @ $2.40

Warwick Farm R5 – BM64 (3YO+) Hcp 1100m

16:40 (AEST)

TILLOTSON is fast and strong and after comfortably winning maiden last start should have no trouble driving forward from out wide and finding a nice spot. Hughie rides again and is very fit. That’s a potent combo.

In contrast, VIENNOISERIE won her maiden coming from a mile back last start at Gosford. And looked good gobbling them all up down the running. Fitter now.

HOLLYWOOD GOSSIP is honest and in form. Jay Mac rides and is trained here.

 Tip: TILLOTSON @ $9.00

Warwick Farm R6 – BM64 (C&G) 1100m

17:15 (AEST)

BOMBDIGGITY is pretty sharp while fresh and showed that with a solid win first-up last start. Gets 3kg claim here and off this good alley should be right in this. Rates highly.

KENNEDY CHOICE was doing good things when last in work. After a series of placings won two straight and gets a 2kg claim here first-up. Watch betting.

EL COHETE also resumes and is an in and out type. But, he races very well at this track.

Tip: BOMBDIGGITY @ $9.00

Warwick Farm R7 – BM64 (3YO+) Hcp 1300m

17:50 (AEST)

HONEYCREEPER steps out for the first time as a 3YO. Was racing well enough in Saturday grade prior to spell and did win a trial recently. Watch her.

The fact PENSO A LEI is on her home track and has already run well this time up gives her a shot. She belongs to the NSW Tycoons racing team and she ran home well last start over 1200m behind Sweet Ruby for 4th. Probably drops out early but should be rushing home.

COMRADE ROSA looks progressive. Bolted in on debut to win maiden at Kembla then straight to BM 68 grade in town and was luckless when eye-catching 3rd. Suited this trip and looks hard to hold out.

Tip: COMRADE ROSA @ $2.40
