Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Dubbo meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 3 races. Good luck, punters!
Track Condition: Soft 6
Rail Position: Out 3m from 900m to home turn, true rest
Should pan out to be an intriguing affair. I think the lady trainers fight this one out. From their respective gates, I see FLASHLIN, trained by Sharon Jeffries charging across to lead this field while PRESS ESTATE for Gayna Williams eases across looking for cover midfield. They both raced each other last start and Flashlin beat the other mare home by a length, but Press Estate was 2nd up from a spell. Being that much fitter this time I think she can finish 2 lengths closer and run Flashlin down near the wire. Quinella them.
Tip: PRESS ESTATE @ $8.00
There has been good money overnight for RUBICK SUN who is a new member of the Clint Lundholm yard. He was runner up on debut and is now trained at this track. But I think the race may be a tad short for him so I’m on BILLABONG ISLE. Off this inside gate I think she can jump on the bunny and lead these. She did similar last start and her condition gave out near the line, running a narrow 2d. Should strip fitter now and is going to be in front when the whips are cracking. Quinella them too.
Tip: BILLABONG ISLE @ $3.50
Fascinating race here. I do love a horse in form and we have a few here, particularly the topweight HONEYWINE. He has found a new lease on life since transferring from Victoria to Dubbo trainer Garry Lunn. And I think that will continue here. Looks from this great gate to dash to the lead and try to lead all the way. Is very fit and won a BM 58 two starts back.
Tip: HONEYWINE @ $3.50
