Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Sapphire Coast this afternoon.
I really do like horses in form and those who have shown themselves to be worthy. In this grade, a few 2nd placings is very appealing. SINGING DIXIE has been runner-up in this company twice from her past three runs and has also placed at this track. She gets a welcome 2kg allowance here and has drawn perfectly. She tends to lead and this gate and weight allow her that luxury without spending too much energy. She is very fit now too and her last run was 2nd at this journey. That all just means to me that she will be the one to catch and I don’t think anything other than HARTZER PARK has the talent to do so. Quinella them.

Sapphire Coast R4 – Winter Sprint 1207m
I like the way HARD CORE maps in this. He is very nicely in at the weights compared to his best form and this will be his 2nd start from a spell. Wasn’t beaten far, just on a length actually, when resuming last start in a strong BM 66 and carried a 3kg apprentice and 60kg that day. Is fitter now, has a tremendous 2nd up record and a senior rider. Should settle just off the pace and come home hard running down WILFUL SOUL. That’s my quinella bet.

Sapphire Coast R7 – BM58 Hcp 1407m
Young apprentice Amy McLucas is riding very well these days and she rides this boy LEGISLATION really well. On top of that, he has returned to racing with zest this campaign, placing 2nd in both his starts, both at BM 58 level. He was narrowly beaten by his stablemate NO EMOTION when resuming and meets him 2kg better today. And is fitter so I expect him to turn the tables. Toss in COSTA CHIN CHIN and box them all in the exacta.
