Wyong R2 – Mdn Hcp 1100m
The smallish field will benefit the bottom weighted horse here in JUST A TIFF. He has drawn well and can settle back on the fence in about 5th to the bend. Last start he came from way further back this trip at Gosford when an eye-catching 4th to the very smart unbeaten Shadow Devil. That horse would a $1.04 chance here and win by 5 lengths. So, considering this bloke came home with him and was beaten 2 lengths on the line, I think he might be worth having a ticket on here. If you want a quinella bet, toss in HAMAKI.Â
A really good chance to make money here. I love the placement of REJOICED in this one. I think he jumps and heads toward the lead, probably sitting in 2nd, then accelerates away late. He raced that way to win his first two race starts at provincial level, but then he stepped up in grade and trip last start and just folded late over a mile. Drops back in journey to where he has proven to be comfortable and I suggest a lot of money will come for him. Still a colt too so that tells you there is a lot of confidence about his talents.

This 3YO FLUCTUATE may be a great anchor bet for your quaddie or multis. He has raced once where he scored easily at Gosford and he has been absolutely smashed overnight with the corporates firming considerably which is always a tremendous sign when having a bet. On speed at Gosford and just raced away to win with ease and although this is harder he seems to have improved.
