Track Condition: Soft 5
Rail Position: Out 8m from 1500m to w/p, 5m remainder
A fair track to race on – finally, may not be the case if this Sydney rain continues to fall on Saturday. This brings BLOW DART into the picture. The three starts he’s had this time up have all been under big weights in these Highways and he has well in each. Gets up on pace and looks nicely placed here with a welcome 3kg claim.
Scone trained BARADOS is smart having won two of three starts this far, but is getting up in class and weight now. Drawn wide helps so to be on speed all the way and is getting better so rates highly.
WELL IN SIGHT is a handy horse also and she gets in here with a good weight. Nice and speedy winning first three starts. Resumes here. Keep her in your numbers.
Tip: BLOW DART
DEHORNED UNICORN is tough enough for this. Did win a BM 72 for instance two runs back. Last start was probably a length or so too close to the lead from the get go and was a brave 5th this trip and grade. Expect a nice run from this great gate.
MIHOCEK is interesting. He is 3rd up here after two strong runs in weaker grade but with more more weight. Significantly, he did win 3rd up last campaign. Chance.
DIVINE OKAY is in great form but against weaker opposition. Still, winning form is best and all equal on this wet track.
Tip: DEHORNED UNICORN
This looks a strong race, and a fascinating race. BUDHWAR was on speed all the way last start after drawing wide and he wilted late this grade to finish a close up 7th. Better draw here and faster track may well help him hang on longer this time.
CENTRO STORICO resumed from a spell last start this grade and charged late to finish 3rd. The run had back me next start written all over it so I say, do just that. Big show.
DARALINA BELLE is 4th up and all three runs have been honest nd sets her up for this. looks nicely placed.
Tip: CENTRO STORICO
Hard race to assess. OUR CANDIDATE is finally racing with gusto again and can run all day. But big weight. still, is very fit.
ARABOLINI has staying wheels. Is a front-runner who really loves the mud. Will lead and will take running down.
BLACK QUEEN has been thereabouts just behind the placegetters past few since resuming. Was better than these last prep and could just go bang here.
Tip: 1. OUR CANDIDATE
The big weight for smart mare AUTHENTIC JEWEL here has been lightened a little with boom apprentice Reece Jones taking 2kg off her back. This is herv5th start this time up and is down in grade so that weight relief makes her a threat.
Albury sprinter HARDWARE LANE is up in class here but he is pretty smart and is getting faster each run. Bolted in with a huge weight last in the bush. Will make his presence felt.
Interesting to see how the unbeaten in three starts SHADES OF ROSE runs here. Off the inside draw, she is first up from a spell but showed speed to lead and win all three weaker races last campaign. Won a recent trial by a huge margin. Respect her.
Tip: 1. SHADES OF ROSE
THE CATCH won three in a row this time up before up in class and 9th last start. Gets a 2kg allowance, back to best grade and can bounce back.
FLASH FLOOD is more than handy and did win similar level two runs back. Will be in the finish. Well up to this and is very fit.
AND WE DANCED has placed twice this time up at this level. ran 3rd last run when expected to win and is fitter now and looms large.

Tough little race too unpack. lots of improving mares here.
SUR LA MER is heading toward three wins in row and off this draw can do it. Has powered home past two.
PER INAWAY was disappointing last start when well backed and a plodding 4th at this level. Rises in weight as Hughie jumps on which may well get her going again.
RIDUNA is up a little in class but likes to go out and grind them down so will try that here.Watch betting.
Tip: 1. PER INAWAY
Chris Waller presents about 800 horses for this race and should trifecta the affair. In order across the line I think they will be last start winner NAVAL SEAL who looks back better than ever and who will love a 2kg allowance in the mud. Is on the rise.
Then TINNIE WINNER who has won two of three this campaign and KIRKEBY who is up in class but was 2nd last start suggesting he is ready to run a big one.
Tip: 1. NAVAL SEAL
Tough race to work out. Form lines from everywhere. LACKEEN with the Reece Jones allowance looks very well placed here 2nd up. He is better than this grade when right and was a terrific hard-finishing 4th when resuming last start.
The last time LORD ARDMORE raced on a heavy track he bolted in – and it was the grade. Is always honest and was a great 2nd when resuming. Big danger.
LOVE TAP is out of form but down in grade and Hughie has been booked. That’s a good clue.
Tip: 1. LORD ARDMORE
Big weight to carry on a really wet track but TITANIUM POWER is fast and tough and last start win was outstanding. Likes to lead but will have company early out in front which is a concern.
The run last start of EL BUENA was average but likes the mud and will improve here.
TAMERLANE is getting close to a win. kart start 3rd this grade when finishing hard was a good lead in for this.
