Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s Sunshine Coast meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 9 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 6

Rail Position: True entire circuit

Going to have something each way on BENTAYGA. He just found one better at Doomben last start but did space the others. Looks nice odds and have something win and more place.

FAST TALKING has won two of his last three starts. Went forward after being wide at Doomben last start and held them off for gutsy win. Expect he will try similar tactics in this.

BADOOSH won here three starts back then not been all that far in last couple when placed. Drawn a touch awkwardly but would not leave out of exotics.

Tip: BENTAYGA

RED RUBI has been impressive in both starts this time in. Showed exciting turn-of-hoof winning at Doomben last start and she only needs to bring that form to win again.

FESTIVAL PRINCE won at Toowoomba two starts back then he fought the race out bravely when placed this track last start. Barrier a concern but cannot leave out.

MAXIMUM OUTPUT has won two of his last three starts, most recent a strong Gold Coast win. Racing consistently and must consider in this field.

Tip: RED RUBI

KINGSTON’S HERE is the big watch resuming from a spell. Creating a big impression with three dominant wins to begin last campaign. Has win trial leading in and he must go on top.

THE MOVE is another promising gelding first-up from a break. Only the two starts last time in work and could not crack it for a win but they were hot races. Drawn perfectly and major player.

GOLDSBOROUGH should have won at Ipswich first-up. He just laid in final stages and that cost him. Strips fitter and can go on better.

Tip: KINGSTON’S HERE

LIME SODA powered away and gave them a galloping lesson at Gold Coast last start. She comes into this third-up from spell and although drawn wide she can get away with this.

CONGLOMERATE resumes from a break. Looked impressive winning both starts on the provincial circuit last time in work and only needs that form to get away with this.

RUPERTAAR relished the heavy ground and got the prize at Randwick first-up from spell then prepared to forget last start when did not get all that much room. She can bounce back in this.

Tip: LIME SODA

EXTREMAARTY looked forward enough winning recent trial at Gold Coast. Place in his maiden this track on debut before winning at second start. Drawn ideally and she is ready for this.

CATWALK CRIMINAL created a big impression when she led all the way and bolted in on debut at Beaudesert. This a step up but she has drawn to lead again and will take catching.

SPIRITUALISED won with something in hand here last start after leading throughout. Has the speed to sit in first couple and can win again.

Tip: EXTREMAARTY

LE DON DE VIE was a strong winner at Flemington first-up then he went to the Q22 and only battled from the corner. Back in right race and he can bounce back.

The form of BALLISTIC BOY recently would suggest he cannot win this but it was only three starts back he was placed in Lord Mayor’s Cup and if he found best he can surprise these.

ARAPAHO brings some solid Sydney form up north. Stable are having a good run at the moment and would suggest to have something each way on this gelding.

Tip: LE DON DE VIE

BATTLETOON is screaming out for a win this prep. Placed in all three starts this time in including the last couple in Group 3 company. Drawn ideally and he is top pick.

MAJESTIC COLOUR is racing in super form winning all three starts this time in. Steps up drastically in class and no luck with barrier draw but he is up and comer and cannot ignore.

INDISCREETLY just lacked race fitness when nabbed late at Ipswich first-up from a break. Sure to be better from the outing and ideal barrier puts her right in this.

Tip: BATTLETOON

Thought this looked nice race for SALATEEN. Placed in all three starts this campaign including being close in the Dane Ripper Stakes last start. Drawn little awkwardly but will be having something each way.

DESERT LORD was enormous in the Eye Liner and arguably should have won. Never on the track at any stage and managed to hold onto second spot. Will get much better run here.

HOLYFIELD gave nothing else a chance when jumped to the front in the Eye Liner and led all the way. If they leave him alone again he will take some catching.

Tip: SALATEEN

HOT SPRING GOLD comes into this ready to find best form third-up from a spell. Started favourite at Doomben last start but slow start cost him winning. He can finish the program at nice each way odds.

WILMOT PASS gave nothing else a chance after he found the front this track last start. If he can find an easy lead he will take some running down again.

TYCOON EVIE chased home well enough when beaten less than 2 lengths in the Gai Waterhouse Stakes last start. She will get ideal run in behind the speed and have last crack at these.

Tip: HOT SPRING GOLD
