COPPERFIELD is a debutant from the Price/Kent stable. Looked strong winning Benalla trial and given plenty of time he will be well supported at first start.
ALVERDUN is not far off winning his maiden. Placed in both provincial starts and this is not a difficult affair. This a winnable race.

BLACK PENN resumes from spell. He won his maiden by a big space at Pakenham first-up last time in work and cannot leave him out of winning chances.
FIGHTER started favourite at Kilmore last start and he chased home strongly late to just miss in driving finish. Fitter and he won second-up last time in work.
FRENCH MOON is first-up from spell. He won his maiden at Stawell on debut then competitive in three city runs since. If forward enough he can get away with this.
LITTLE MISS GUTSAA relished the heavy ground when placed at Kyneton last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in behind the speed and must respect.

SECRET GLAMOUR won her maiden with something in hand at Cranbourne on debut then chased strongly and just missed at Flemington last start. That form good for this.
The runs of SPINNING have been better than finishing positions suggest in her last couple. Drawn to get perfect run in transit and this a winnable race.
LADY ADELAIDE wanted to go keenly at Kilmore but stayed tough and held placing. She has not been far off them in last couple and this nice race for her.
VELOURS BLEU resumes from spell. Showed good speed to lead at Echuca before break and won with something in hand. She will go forward again and takes catching.
Tip: SECRET GLAMOUR
This looks right race for MR CANCUN. Liked the way he hit the line last 200m when placed at Flemington last outing. That form good for this.
KWOI HOI demolished maiden field at Kyneton two starts back then chased home late when placed at Kyneton on the heavy. Drawn to get perfect run in transit.
YULONG STATUS was beaten less than a length this track two starts back then went to Hawkesbury and was disappointing. Drawn perfectly and cannot dismiss.
BE ALERT kicked clear soon after straightening and won maiden as he liked last start. Progressive and he can measure up to this.
Tip: MR CANCUN
RURU comes into this ready third-up from spell. Started favourite at Flemington in better race last start and was beaten less than 2 lengths. Drawn ideally and can win.
ROYELLE is another that is third-up. Placed in last couple on the provincial circuit and would not be surprised to see her in the mix.
GRAVITELLE chased home steadily when placed in small field at Cranbourne last start. Improving with each outing and cannot leave her out of place chances.
MAID OF IRON was not disgraced in better race at Flemington last start when finished midfield. If she can bring that form into this she will be competitive.

Liked the way SOARHI let down when winning at Newcastle on debut. This a step up but he looks to have plenty of upside and can win again.
OUT OF ISOLATION was strong final stages getting the money at Sale last start. Drawn to get ideal run and will be right in the mix again.
BOLD MANNER raced up on the speed and got the prize at Bendigo fresh then just did not finish race off last start. Third-up and looks well placed.
GRACIAS AMIGO resumes from a spell. Yet to be placed in three first-up tries but would not leave him out of place chances.

SELFLESS resumes from spell. Finds her best form when fresh having won maiden on debut before being placed when first-up last prep. Going to have something each way on her.
STARLIGHT SCOPE finished the race off strongly to win at Mornington first-up from spell. She will be better from the outing and should go close again.
LOVE TAKES TIME looked touch unlucky not to have won at Mornington first-up when held-up early in straight. Drawn to get ideal run and she will be right in mix.

LAUNCH PAD demolished a maiden field at Mortlake last start winning by 10 lengths. This is a much harder task but cannot leave him out based on that win.
HONORABLE MENTION looks close to a win. He has been placed in two provincial runs leading into this and would not leave out of multiples.
DANCE READY has been a model of consistency this time in with a string of placings. Drawn bit awkwardly but must include in multiples.
TOORAK PLAYBOY has been relishing the wet tracks of late and although drawn in the car park would not dismiss.
