Track Condition: Heavy 8
Rail Position: True entire circuit
RANVEER started favourite down the Flemington straight but ran into a smart one in Profiteer and had to settle for second spot. Looks nice race to resume in.
DUCHY OF SAVOY was beaten less than 2 lengths in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview on debut. She went straight to the paddock and recent trial suggests she will run well fresh.
MIMOSAS did not jump all that well at Flemington on debut but recovered and went back inside runners last 200m for strong win from the back. Jamie Kah aboard and cannot leave out.
RAMBEAU won his maiden with something in hand at Pakenham two starts back then fought on from the front when placed here last start. He may sneak a place at odds.
Tip: RANVEER
SIGN SEAL DELIVER relished the heavy ground to win at Warrnambool two starts back then went to Flemington and just found one better. Likely to get a heavy track here and that could be winning conditions.
SHAKESPEARE looks ready to win this prep. Placed in both starts leading into this and he will not mind the wet track. Must include in winning chances.
CHUCK A LUCK worked across to find the lead middle stages last start and was able to sustain run in the straight for good tough win. No reason he cannot win again.
CARRIE jumped to the front and gave nothing else a chance at Cranbourne last start. She was competitive in previous starts and will not be far away again.
Tip: SIGN SEAL DELIVER
SWEET SIXTEEN started favourite at Flemington last start and liked the way she attacked the line from second half last 200m. She gets through the wet ground and this nice race for her to win.
COMICA led them up in the same race as Sweet Sixteen at Flemington and was only claimed final stages. Back to 1300m and will take some catching last 100m.
MISS DIVINE EM comes into this ready third-up from spell. Did not get all that much luck when held-up last start at Caulfield and looking for her to improve in this.
BUBBLY LASS relished the heavy ground and got her maiden out of the way at Warrnambool last start. Will get similar conditions and although harder would not leave out.
Tip: SWEET SIXTEEN
Really liked the way EXCELIDA attacked the line when placed at Flemington last start. Will strip fitter off that run and out to the 1300m ideal.
TAN TAT HARMONY comes into this third-up from spell. Placed at Caulfield fresh then was beaten less than 2 lengths last start. Drawn touch awkwardly but third-up looks well placed.
THE STYLIST looks the likely speed in this and she was only overran final stages last start. If she gets her own way up front she will take some catching.
NOVEMBER DREAMING has been a little one paced in here two runs back from spell but she comes into this third-up and looking for her to figure in the placings.
Tip: EXCELIDA
DR DRILL only just missed in Group 3 company in Adelaide last start. He is yet to miss a place in four third-up runs and he looks ready to find best form.
BEDFORD made some good late ground when ran into a minor spot behind Yonkers at Caulfield last start. Only needs to improve to be right in the mix.
SPRING CHOICE powered over them final stages for clear win here last start. Racing consistently and he can make it two in a row.
VERIMLI is the query runner making his Australian debut. Drawn to get the run of the race and if any money about would consider.
Tip: DR DRILL
OCEAN MISS should have won at Flemington last start. She was held-up at vital stage but once in the clear flew late and just missed.
RELUCENT chased home strongly but just found one better at Caulfield last start. If he can hold that form he should be finishing this off strongly.
BLUE OCEAN won at Caulfield two starts back then beaten less than a length when making late ground in a nice race at Flemington last start. He will be in finish.
DEGRAVES is the big query making hi Australian debut. Competitive in Ireland and has form on heavy ground. Watch for any market support.
Tip: OCEAN MISS
Wide gate should not worry STANDOFF as she will be getting back in early stages anyway. Liked the way she powered home to win with something in hand at Flemington last start and is she produces a similar turn-of-hoof she will be in the mix again.
SEB SONG overraced in the middle stages at Caulfield last start and just could not finish the race off well enough. He won previous start and if he can settle will be right in the mix.
The big query is the Kiwi gelding BASARWA having his first start in Australia. He won fresh in New Zealand before poor run on heavy last start. Did take on Group 1 company last campaign.
ZOUTELLUS is threatening to win a race. He was placed at Pakenham two starts back then went to Caulfield and led them up for long way. Should lead again and will take catching.
Tip: STANDOFF
Always had an opinion of JUMBO OZAKI and he is yet to miss a place in three first-up tries. If he can produce his best in this field he would go close to winning.
ALTAI RANGER found the front and just proved too strong winning here two starts back then he led until last couple of strides at Flemington last start. Drawn wide but will lead and prove hard to catch.
CORNER POCKET is building an imposing career record winning five in a row leading into this. Has the speed to sit in the first couple and sure to take running down.
TITAN BLINDERS was in the market at Caulfield first-up but just could not finish the race off. Sure to strip fitter and although drawn in the car park can sneak into a minor spot.
Tip: JUMBO OZAKI
BLESS HER did enough over final stages when placed at Caulfield first-up from spell. She is unbeaten in two heavy track runs and fitter second-up she can get away with this.
ALL TOO ROYAL resumes from spell. He has a super first-up record (7:4-0-0) and gets through the wet ground well enough. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and will be a factor late.
IDIDITFORLOVE started favourite at Flemington last start and at the 200m ran up to win but he just peaked on run final stages. If held up for one run at them may sneak place at odds.
GREAT AGAIN chased home well enough when just out of the placing in the Wangoom first-up. Sure to strip fitter and he thrives in the wet ground.
