SUPER THIEF won his maiden in a canter at Swan Hill first-up then went to Sale as favourite and again won as he liked. He can measure up to these.
MARINE ONE showed an exciting turn-of-hoof and won as he liked at Swan Hill first-up from spell. He looks city class and can go on with it here.
FAKE LOVE had excuses at Caulfield last start when pulled up with throat issues. She will strip fitter and from ideal barrier she can bounce back.
Liked the way TRUE NOBILITY hit the line to win his maiden at Hamilton last start. Fitter from the outing and would not leave him out of multiples.
Tip: SUPER THIEF
THOUGHT OF THAT will roll to the front and lead these. He has been dominant leading all the way in last two starts and he will be the one to catch from the corner.
IRISH FLAME was outstanding in Listed company this track first-up then just found the step up to Group 1 class a little too hot in last couple. Back in right race.
DJUKON was better than finishing position suggests here last start when beaten under 3 lengths. Should get nice run back in field and will have last crack at these.
DOUBLE YOU TEE just battled last in the G3 Coongy Handicap. He will sit back off the speed but he has big finish and will be one to watch last 200m.
Tip: THOUGHT OF THAT
MAHASHAKTI started favourite at Cranbourne last start and she came with sustained run for good strong win. Drawn ideally and she can make it two in a row.
OUR INTRIQUE finished too well to win the Port Macquarie Cup last start and was strong to the line. She will make it a staying test and will keep coming final stages.
TYCHE GODDESS overraced a touch in the Pinker Pinker and just found Mahashakti too good final stages. Finds similar race and Linda Meech is on fire.
LE LUDE has not been beaten all that far in a couple of solid Group 3 races in NSW. Will get perfect run and she can sneak into a placing.
Tip: MAHASHAKTI
Have been following REGARDSMAREE this prep but he has let me down so far. Finds a nice race her and going to have something each way on him again.
WICKLOW TOWN finished too well to win at Ballarat two starts back then he chased home a smart on in the Seymour Cup last start. He gets chance to return to winners stall.
SO SI BON is such an honest gelding. He is always competitive in his races and not beaten far at Caulfield last start. Would not be surprised to see him win this.
WINNING PARTNER was dominant winning the Balaklava Cup two starts back then he just got fraction too far back in the Seymour Cup. Don’t leave him out of place chances.
Tip: REGARDSMAREE
YULONG COMMAND showed abundance of speed and was only nabbed by the in form Curran here first-up from spell. He strips fitter and can lead all the way.
EASY SINGLE is working through his classes in impressive fashion winning his last three starts. Found the front and ran them off their legs here last start and he will take catching again.
SHILO LASS is another last start winner this track. Expect she will sit in behind a couple of speedsters and if she is close enough on the corner can finish all over these.
AQUAGIRL was placed behind Curran here first-up from spell. She is sure to be better from that outing and cannot leave her out of chances.
Tip: YULONG COMMAND
Liked the way NICOLINI VITO got to the line when placed on the heavy ground at Bendigo first-up from spell. Sure to be better from that outing and will be having something each way.
THE GAUCH started odds on at Sale last start and he won with something in hand. Now he has returned to winners stall he can go on with it here.
OVERKILL is threatening to win a race this prep coming off two sound placings leading into this. He gets his chance in this field.
LADY PLUCK went back to provincial class at Hamilton last start and she got the job done. She can measure up to this and must include in exotics.
Tip: NICOLINI VITO
If you can forgive the run of INGRATIATING in the G2 Danehill at Flemington last start he can win this. Outstanding fresh win at Caulfield before Listed placing at Flemington. Happy to have something each way.
The Queenslander JONKER has plenty of speed and third-up from spell he should be primed to this. Ideal barrier and he will be prominent for a long way.
SAVATOXL chased hard at Caulfield first-up and just finished too well last 100m for strong win. Group 1 Goodwood Handicap winner last campaign and he will be in finish.
SNEAKY FIVE has done nothing wrong winning all three starts. Came from well back for an impressive win at Caulfield first-up and although this harder she can measure up.
Tip: INGRATIATING
AKECHETA is threatening to win a race this prep after a string of minor placings. Looked all over winner at Cranbourne but was nabbed on line. Makes own luck up front and The Valley will suit.
JUST FOLK is another that has been racing in consistent form and although he is awkwardly drawn form good enough for this and cannot dismiss.
IMPERIAL LAD found the front and led until last stride at Caulfield last start. Drawn to get the perfect run here and if he finds the front will take catching.
SILENT SOVEREIGN resumes from spell. She has won two of three first-up tries including last prep winning at Caulfield. Must include fresh.
