VICTORIA PARK was good at Sunshine Coast last start when beaten into second spot but he beat the others with ease. Only needs to hold that form to be a factor in this.
FIORENTE STAR came from well back to run into placing here last start. Expect he will get back but if leaders stop will be hitting the line hard.
VITESSE FRANCAIS will be suited getting out to the extra distance in this field. Caught the eye late at Doomben last start and cannot be left out of chances.
Tip: STOCKED AND LOADED
MILLWARD just missed at Ipswich last start and looks ready to win third-up from spell. He started favourite in that race and can measure up in this field.
CHIEF ARTIE showed abundance of speed to lead at Doomben first-up and was only overran final stages. Sure to be better from the outing and will take catching in this.
LONDON BELL took on Listed company last start but just did not measure up. He was competitive on debut and at third start in easier race can figure.
ARCHDEACON only just missed in driving finish at Doomben last start and if he can hold that form coming into this will be right in the mix.
Tip: MILLWARD
The big query for me in this is the Queensland debut of SAFEEYA. Ex Victorian who comes north with a couple of solid placings and looks well placed in this.
RISING STAR comes into this third-up from spell. Has the speed to sit up on the speed and stuck on well last outing. Will be prominent for a long way in this.
ADELASE should have been right in the finish at Doomben last start but was held up final stages. Will strip fitter and cannot leave out of winning chances.
CENTENARY STAR is another who was not beaten all that far first-up from spell. Better from the outing and a must for first four players.
Tip: SAFEEYA
Watch the market closely on debutant CHAPERONE. He has been showing enough in trials to suggest he is above average and if any support would follow.
KOLLUR is resuming from a spell. Was well back into favourite in town at last couple before break and obviously shown ability.
ALLORA ENZO was well backed at Doomben on debut and although made some late ground was never a threat. He is sure to be better from the race experience and can feature.
MY ODDETTE just found a couple better last 200m at Sunshine Coast on debut. She will be better from that race experience and can figure in this.
Tip: CHAPERONE
PROSPECTUS started favourite at Ipswich last start and did not let punters down finishing a touch too good for them final stages. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and can win this.
TEARS OF LOVE has come back in winning form this time in with three straight wins. Dominant at Doomben last start and if he produces that form will go close to winning this.
MURLESS showed abundance of speed to win at Sunshine Coast last start and held on to win. Sure to be competitive in this field.
I COULD DO BETTER resumes from spell. He has won three of his four starts this time in and must be included on that stat alone.
Tip: PROSPECTUS
Going to have something each way on NICCONITA in this. Just found the step up to Group 2 class a little too hot at Eagle Farm last start but she gets back in right race and can win this.
DEPTHS BELOW was placed at Gold Coast two starts back then beaten less than 2 lengths at Doomben last outing. Drawn a little wide but he can figure in this.
LASHONI resumes from a spell. Battled on well when not beaten all that far fresh then was competitive in town at next couple. Would not leave her out first-up.
Run of THREE STRIPES was better than finishing position suggests when not beaten all that far at Sunshine Coast first-up. Improves off that run and can figure.
Tip: NICCONITA
ROTATOR comes north in the David Vandyke stable. Has won a trial since joining new stable and her last run in Melbourne started favourite at The Valley.
LADY TULESSA kept coming steadily when placed at Kilcoy first-up from spell. She will be much better from that outing and she can get away with this.
RUNSIS comes into this ready third-up from spell. Not disgraced here last start and although drawn little awkwardly cannot leave out.
POTENT VIEW held on bravely and got the job done winning at Sunshine Coast last start. That form good enough to be competitive in this.
Tip: ROTATOR
KUDU was too strong final stages and got the money at Sunshine Coast two back then he just battled away final stages last outing. Third-up and can figure.
BOOM SPENDER won at Doomben two starts back then he stayed tough when not disgraced here last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and will be a factor again.
HEY BIG SPLENDA resumes from spell. Did not run a bad race in four starts at first prep and two recent trials will have him ready for this.
Tip: KUDU
SO CLEVER demolished a maiden field at Gold Coast on debut. He looks above average and can measure up to city class. Drawn touch wide but goes on top.
SUPER GORGEOUS started odds on favourite at Ipswich last start. Raced on the speed and he was class above. Another who needs luck from his wide gate and can figure.
GOLDSCHLAGER started favourite at Doomben last start and thought she fought the race out strongly suggesting that she will be a major player in this.
