Going with the debutant ALLORA ENZO to begin his career in winning form. Won most recent trial at Doomben and if any market support would follow.
FINNICKY started favourite here on debut and liked the way she made some late ground to just miss placing. Sure to be better from the race experience and will go close in this.
THE POWER OF ONE chased home strongly but just missed here first-up from spell. She will be much better from that outing and gets chance to go one better.
WILSON WON brings some solid Toowoomba form with two placings from last three starts. Drawn to get all the favours in behind the speed and would not be surprised to see him win this.
Tip: ALLORA ENZO
CHIEF ARTIE was in the market here on debut but he just peaked on run after showing some early speed. Has had a break and recent dominant trial win suggests he will go close fresh.
BURNE JONES is a debutant from the Chris Munce stable. Only the one trial and he won on this track. Watch betting for best guide to his chances.
DARE TO SHARE has been placed in all three starts. Found one bit too good after leading first-up. From ideal draw should drive through and lead again and he will take catching.
HAMLET VON SNITZEL resumes from a spell. Competitive in all three starts at first prep and coming off recent Doomben trial win should be in the mix.
Tip: CHIEF ARTIE
Going to go with the race experience for the fillies. ADDRESS UNKNOWN resumes from spell. Raced on the speed and battled on well to hold minor placing at Sunshine Coast. Two trials will have her fit and must include in chances.
Can never leave out the Edmonds/Maloney combination especially with debutants and CHICKERARTIE fits the bill. Won recent Gold Coast trial and expect she will be well supported.
COCO ROX did not have all that much luck here on debut but still ran into a minor placing. Had break since and although drawn wide would not leave out.
RAYJEN is from the Robert Heathcote stable making his debut. Won her only trial and she cannot be left out of main chances.
Tip: ADDRESS UNKNOWN
TAMILAIDE relished the heavy to win at Gold Coast first-up then should have finished closer here when favourite last start. If he has a bit more luck here he will figure.
TRIBUTE KING is a Kiwi trained gelding who crossed the Tasman and pulled up lame at Sunshine Coast first-up. Prior to coming to Australia he took on Group 1 NZ Derby. May just be too classy for these.
EELLOH comes into this off a couple of solid placings on the provincial circuit. Will find this tougher but can sneak into a placing.
THE ACTUARY comes into this third-up from spell. No luck when always wide here last start and was entitled to weaken. Ready to show some improvement.
Tip: TAMILAIDE
WARP SPEED raced up on the speed and fought the race out tenaciously first-up from spell but just found one better. Strips fitter and he makes his own luck up front. He gets chance to go one better.
SMART METEOR has been a model of consistency but just finding it hard to win. Finds similar race and expect he will be in finish again.
BLACKLOG comes into this off two solid minor placings. Will sit back in second half but if the pace is on up front he could be the one to watch for late.
AIOLOS finished too well to win here last start at big odds. Drawn bit wide here and will need some luck but cannot knock winning form.
Tip: WARP SPEED
XERRI was placed in the Mick Dittman to starts back then just got too far back in the Darby McCarthy last start but not disgraced. Drawn ideally and may be bit too classy for these.
INCERTO resumes from a spell. He won his first couple to begin career then may have had enough when tired at Sunshine Coast. Cannot leave out fresh.
KINGSCOTE looks ready to win this time in. Placed in all three runs this time in and despite awkward gate cannot leave out.
TYCOON BELLA resumes from a spell in new stable. Placed in three of her four starts in Victoria last time in work and if she can bring that form north will be right in the mix.
Tip: XERRI
Found this to be a really tough affair but settled on FISTICUFFS first-up from spell. Drawn to get the perfect sit in behind the speed and if he can have some luck from the corner can get away with this.
DESERT MAN won at the Gold Coast first-up from spell then he has not been disgraced in two runs since. Should get the right run behind speed and will look winner at some stage in straight.
EF TROOP looked like he was going to be a superstar early in career but just not lived up to that potential. Joins the Tony Gollan stable and if anywhere near best could win this.
OZARK resumes from spell. He was placed at the Gold Coast first-up last time in work and from ideal barrier draw must consider.
Tip: FISTICUFFS
PHOBETOR finished too well getting the upperhand late to win this track at only start last time in work. He has won two trials leading into this and won two of three first-up tries. He is top pick.
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY had no luck when always wide at Ipswich first-up and did a big job to hold on form minor placing. If he can get a better run in transit he should be right in the mix.
PEPPI LA FEW resumes from spell. He has been placed in all three first-up tries and was placed at Ipswich fresh last time in work. He can sneak into a place.
FIT FOR PURPOSE resumes in new stable. Took on a hot race at Gold Coast only start last time in and was well beaten. Two average trials leading into this but must respect.
Tip: PHOBETOR
RADICAL SPIRIT resumes from spell. Ended last prep winning her Sunshine Coast maiden by a big space. Won recent trial and if she produces that form will be a safe each way bet.
DIVULGE resumes from spell. Started odds on at Ipswich on debut and only just missed then won his maiden in a canter here at next start. May have been at end of prep at Sunshine Coast when failed. Two trials will have him fit for this.
LE HEROS comes into this ready third-up from spell. Been competitive in both runs back and if he can overcome wide barrier will be in the mix.
EVITA LA VIE resumes. Won her maiden with something in hand to in last prep and coming off a trial should be ready for first-up tilt.
