Doomben R1 – No Metro Wins Handicap 1050m
DRAGON MISS won at Ipswich on the heavy ground fresh then went to Listed company and battled on well beaten less than 2 lengths in the Gai Waterhouse. Third-up and back in right race.
Liked the way BE WATER MY FRIEND hit the line when just missed here first-up from spell. If he can show natural improvement he should be in mix again.
FOR MY ANNIE comes to town for the first time this prep. Placed in small field at Toowoomba last start and from ideal barrier he can sneak a minor spot.

Doomben R2 – Two-year-old Handicap 1350m
THE VOWELS is the big query for me in this. He demolished a maiden field at Rockhampton last start and he comes straight to town. He looks above average.
MINKS STAR was beaten less than a length in Listed company two starts back then forget last start when just got too far back. She should get ideal run from inside gate and expect her to be in placings.
HATTUSA made it two in a row winning at Ipswich last start. Drawn a little wide but cannot knock winning form and deserves her chance in this.

Doomben R3 – Three-years-old C&G Stakes 1350m
ALPINE EDGE has not been beaten all that far in recent starts. Drawn to get the ideal run in transit and he can get away with this.
SUBTERRANEAN finished too well winning with something in hand at Ipswich last start. Finds similar race and expect he will be in finish.
THE KEWESS was strong winning at Sunshine Coast then he just missed in driving finish here last start. Gets chance to go one better.

Doomben R4 – Three-year-old Fillies Handicap 1350m
RHAPSODY ROSE sat on the pace but just found one better final stages at Eagle Farm last start. If she can get some cover behind the speed here like here chances.
TILIANAM showed exciting turn of hoof when putting the race beyond doubt at Eagle Farm last start. If she gets similar run she will take holding out.
VACCINE was sent out favourite and she got her maiden out of the way this track first-up. She may go on now she has won.
Tip: RHAPSODY ROSE
Doomben R5 – Class 6 Plate 1200m
GARIBALDI chased home the speedy Boomnova at Eagle Farm first-up then just got too far back last start but was making ground. Third-up from spell and ready to find best form.
GOLDSBOROUGH finished too well and won on the heavy ground at Sunshine Coast last start. Likely to get similar conditions and no reason he cannot win again.
THE BIG GOODBYE won with something in hand here two starts back then backed that up with another on pace win at Ipswich last start. No reason cannot make it three in a row.

Doomben R6 – Class 3 Handicap 1200m
PROPER ROGUE resumes from a spell for the Tony Gollan stable. Placed behind a smart one at Ballarat when first-up last prep and recent Deagon trial will have him ready for this.
DARALINA BELLE comes into this off the back of a couple of sound minor placings. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and she is not far off a win.
DELYTH was dominant winning at Ipswich two starts back then went to Sunshine Coast and was just as impressive. Progressive mare and can measure up to these.
Tip: PROPER ROGUE
Doomben R7 – Darby McCarthy 1110m
UNCOMMON JAMES returned to racing in super form sprinting away to win by a big space. Gelding with untapped ability and he should take care of these.
KALLOS resumes. Only had the one run last time in work when disappointing at Randwick. His two trials leading into this have been super and from perfect barrier would not leave him out.
PUTONTHEREDLIGHT caught the eye with the way she finished the race off when placed at Eagle Farm. Is always running on and will win a race like this shortly.
Tip: UNCOMMON JAMES
Doomben R8 – Chief de Beers (Listed) 1110m
MR MOSAIC just missed in driving finish at Scone first-up then she was overran late at Randwick last start. Drawn touch awkwardly but like this gelding and will be having and each way bet on him.
CONTEMPTUOUS just found them a little slick in the Lightning first-up from spell. He will be better from the outing and sure to be an improver.
SIMPLY FLY was placed behind the smart Ranges at Eagle Farm two starts back then was not disgraced last start. Drawn ideally and must respect.

Doomben R9 – Pam O’Neill Stakes (Group 3) 1600m
CHARMMEBABY held them all off to win the Wayne Wilson two starts back then she was not disgraced last start when midfield. She looks nice each way odds for this.
SELEQUE has won three of her last four starts. Dominant in easier company this track last start and although this a harder affair cannot knock winning form.
EASIFAR looks ready to win this preparation. Comes into this third-up from spell and has been placed in both runs back. Must include in exotics.

Doomben R10 – BM85 Handicap 1350m
HOT SPRING GOLD comes into this third-up from spell. Only just missed in driving finish here last start and if he had of jumped with them would have won. He can make amends.
LOVE SENSATION found heavy ground at Sunshine Coast two back and ran a strong placing. Not disgraced in the Gai Waterhouse last start and she will figure in this.
SKINS was placed on the heavy ground first-up then beaten just over 2 lengths at Ipswich. Barrier is his concern but he can sneak a place.
