QUALITY ASSET brings some solid form from up north. Won at Townsville first-up from break then backed that up with dominant performance at Rockhampton. He deserves chance in town.
JACK THE LAD ran on solidly into a minor placing here first-up from break. Sure to be better from the run and from ideal barrier he will get his chance.
OCEAN EMPEROR started odds on at Gold Coast last start but just found one a touch too smart. May get firmer surface and he can go one better.
Tip: QUALITY ASSET
SAYL started favourite in similar company here last start but just got too far back and was never a threat. Expect they will sit closer in this and he will be an improver.
YOUNGBLOOD battled on well when placed in similar race here last start. He had excuses there and would not leave out of chances again.
ISABELLA’S SPRING beat a lot of these here last start. That made it two in a row so would be silly to leave her out of winning chances again.
YISKA is unbeaten in both starts. Dominant when dashed away and won in a canter here last start. Looks to have untapped ability and no reason cannot make it three from three.
CLAIRVUE MOLLY was well supported into favourite at Sunshine Coast on debut and she did not let supporters down finishing too well. Barrier her concern in this.
ACCEBER won on the heavy at Newcastle debut then went to town and was placed at Eagle Farm. Drawn perfectly and he must be included in exotics.
CANADIAN DANCER has won two of three this time in. Ran them sown when short priced favourite at Ipswich and she will be right in the market again.
MOKULUA was placed in the G2 Kewney Stakes at Flemington two starts back then found the class rise to Group 1 beyond her last start. She gets back in winnable race and will go close.
YOU ARE PERSISTENT was impressive winning two in a row before being overran by Canadian Dancer last start. Expect here to be up with the first couple again and she will take catching.
Tip: CANADIAN DANCER
MASS DESTRUCTION resumes from a spell. He has sound first-up record (4:1-2-0) and although drawn wide looks nice each way value.
KISUKANO has drawn out in the car park but she is a class mare and if apprentice can find some cover on her she will loom to win at some stage in the straight.
SHE CAN SING sat up on the speed and just kept grinding away to get the prize at Gold Coast first-up from break. Fitter and can win again.
Tip: MASS DESTRUCTION
Liked the way MORE SUNDAYS finished the race off to win first-up from spell. Will strip fitter and from ideal barrier he can win again.
SHAMATON was claimed right on the line by More Sundays here last start. Comes into this third-up from spell and he can fill the quinella spot again.
RUBY JULY was impressive over last 200m and won with something in hand at Eagle Farm first-up. Better from the outing and although drawn wide must consider.
Tip: MORE SUNDAYS
PRINCE OF BOOM has come back in super form winning both runs back from spell. Dominant at Toowoomba fresh then went to Gold Coast and won. He can win again.
ALPINE EDGE resumes from spell. He is unbeaten in both first-up tries including a soft Eagle Farm win fresh last campaign. Recent trial win has him ready for this.
STARTANTES ran a slashing race in Group 1 company at Randwick last start. Going to need some luck from her wide barrier but class will take her a long way.
Tip: PRINCE OF BOOM
Thought that SMART METEOR looked well over the odds in this. Been a model of consistency this time in and going to have something each way.
PROFIT won a couple in a row then just held ground at Toowoomba last start. He is never far away in his races and will be right in the mix again.
KUKERACHA took on Group 3 company at Newcastle last start but only got going when the race was all over. This looks touch easier and he will strip fitter from the outing.
Tip: SMART METEOR
ULYSSES overcome a tough run here two starts back to get the prize then he was only overran final stages here last start when placed. He gets chance to return to winners stall.
BIGBOYROY looked in need of the run first-up at Eagle Farm when just battled final stages. Sure to be better from the outing and although drawn wide cannot leave out.
NEVER NO MORE is ready to win this prep. He has been placed in three of four starts this time in and would not be surprised to see him go one better.
