Track Condition: Good 4
Rail Position: Out 12m entire circuit
NO DIGGITY was heavily supported at Geelong on debut and finished too well for good strong win. Sure to be better from the race experience and can make it two in a row.
CONCENTRIC showed enough in his only trial when placed in Tatura trial. From astute stable and expect he will be right in the mix on debut.
NEW YORK SCANDAL was not beaten all that far here on debut. Beautifully bred filly who will be better from that experience and she can sneak a placing.
TORONTO TERRIER is a debutant from the Michael Moroney stable. Will be well educated and if there is any stable support must respect.
Tip: NO DIGGITY
GHUMAAMA won with something in hand on debut then she got within a length of the smart Jezoulenko here last start. Drawn ideally and looks nice each way bet.
GUARDIAN SPIRIT started odds on in similar race two starts back and finished too well to get the job done. Took on harder race last start and stayed on late. Back in right race.
DANNY’S ST DARCI started favourite at The Valley last start and got up for last stride win. Racing consistently and this is no harder.
HE’S THE ULTIMATE was a dominant maiden winner two starts back then started favourite at Flemington and was disappointing. He can bounce back.
Really liked the way JILLETTE hit the line when placed here in better race first-up. She won her maiden second-up at first prep and looks major player in this.
FIRST DIVISION raced up on the speed before powering away to win maiden in a canter first-up. If she brings that form from town she can win this.
The run of IRISH MIST was better than finishing position suggests here last start when she was beaten less than 2 lengths. Third-up from spell and she will be in mix.
MINOUCHE gradually wore down leader to get up in final 100m to win maiden at Newcastle last start. Stable obviously have an opinion of him to bring him to town.
PAL D’ORO won with something in hand first-up from spell then started favourite in similar race to this last start and fought tenaciously to just miss. Drawn ideally and will be in finish.
GALACTUS should have been right in the mix at Hillside last start when badly held-up late. Another ready to find best form and he cannot be left out of chances.
VIA CAPO has been racing in consistent form this time in but just finding it hard to win. Beaten less than 2 lengths when favourite last outing and he can sneak a place.
MAGNOSSIVA is never far away in his races. Drawn to get the perfect run in behind the speed and he is a must for first four players.
Tip: PAL D’ORO
LOST IMPACT demolished them at The Valley two starts back when won by 6 lengths. She was solid enough at Flemington in harder race last start. Drawn perfectly and can win again.
LA SPEZIA won her first couple of starts to begin this prep then beaten less than 2 lengths at The Valley last start. Will get perfect run and she will be right in the mix.
Liked the way HEREFORAGOODTIME hit the line to just miss at Mornington last start. She was favourite there and only needs that form to feature in this.
STARSPANGLED BABY fought the race out strongly to win at The Valley two starts back then she was brave when beaten less than 2 lengths last start. She can sneak a placing.
Tip: LOST IMPACT
GENTLEMAN ROY raced on the speed before sprinting clear to win at Flemington last start. Third-up from spell and in similar field can win again.
SAVANNAH CLOUD was brave at Flemington last start when placed after covering extra ground. He is racing in super form and can return to winners stall.
DUNDIRTCHEAP resumes from spell. He looks to have plenty of upside and if forward enough he can remain unbeaten.
Liked the way MARCOLT finished the race off to win at The Valley last start. Going to need some luck from awkward barrier draw but he looks smart and can figure again.
Tip: GENTLEMAN ROY
CHOSEN BLONDE was competitive in better race at Flemington two starts back then went back to Adelaide and was nabbed on the line after leading. Will go forward and takes catching.
SWEETZOU just got too far back and wide at The Valley last start but still battled on well enough and not beaten far. Third-up from spell and from ideal barrier can figure in this.
MIDWEST has been working through his classes impressively with two solid wins to begin this campaign. Barrier is the query.
The interesting runner in this is TSUNAMI SAM resuming from a spell. Showed good pace and won impressively at Ruakaka (NZ) on debut. If any stable support must consider.
Tip: CHOSEN BLONDE
KENTUCKY CASANOVA won with something in hand at Lakeside first-up then he started favourite at Flemington last start and ran on solidly. Third-up from spell and he gets chance in this.
THE MARG FACTOR has been racing in consistent form with a couple of placings at The Valley in her last two starts. Drawn perfectly and she can figure.
SEGUSO jumped to the front and gave nothing else a chance at Geelong first-up from spell. Expect he will try similar tactics in this and takes catching from the corner.
YULONG KNIGHT won three straight before taking on a better race at Flemington last start and just battling. Back in right class and looking for him to bounce back.
