Going to stick with DIRTY THOUGHTS who has been racing consistently but just finding it hard to win. Only just missed here last start and from inside gate he should get all the favours.
THE GAUCH chased home strongly here first-up when beaten less than a length. Sure to be better from that outing and he gets chance to return to winners stall.
FARETTI jumped to the front and gave nothing else a chance at Geelong last start. If he can get across from wide gate and control this he will take catching.
JUST FOLK was brave holding on to win at Murray Bridge two back then backed that up with sound placing here last start. That form good enough for this.
Tip: DIRTY THOUGHTS
PANDEMIC resumes from a spell. He has super first-up record (3:2-0-1) and two recent trials will have him ready for this. Sure to be right in the mix.
ATHIRI is another resuming from a spell. She took on some class races last prep and just fell short. Won recent Gosford trial and from ideal barrier will get her chance.
WISDOM OF WATER got going final stages at The Valley first-up and sure to be better from the run. He has won second-up and cannot leave out of multiples.
CHICAGO CUB only had the one run last time in work and was well held. Has a solid first-up record and may sneak into a placing.
Tip: PANDEMIC
HERESY looks one of the better bets of the day for me. Ran on hard when beaten less than a length fresh then again powered home last start. Third-up from spell and 1400m looks ideal.
ELUSIVE EXPRESS won with something in hand on debut then went to the paddock. Found heavy ground first-up at Bendigo and just missed. Will be better from that outing.
SCORCHED EARTH comes into this primed third-up from spell. She was placed in the Quezette here first-up then only battled late last start. Look for her to bounce back in this.
XTRA GEAR gave maiden field a galloping lesson at Geelong last start and although this is harder she has drawn perfectly and may sneak a minor spot.
Tip: HERESY
BRIGANTINE showed a sharp turn-of-hoof and got the job down at Randwick last start and that made it two wins from last three starts. He looks up to these.
LIGHTSABER comes into this third-up from spell. He was not beaten all that far fresh then finished soundly when just out of placings last start. Out to 1400m looks ideal and could be winning move.
ALPINE EDGE just overraced at Doomben last start and that cost him a win. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and he can measure up to these.
ATHELRIC has been good in both runs back from spell at The Valley. Should appreciate the bigger track here and would not leave him out of winning chances.
Tip: BRIGANTINE
GENERAL BEAU is such an honest colt and he loves this track. Comes into this primed third-up from spell and he can get the job done.
FAKE LOVE resumes from spell. She has plenty of early speed and she led all the way to win in Listed company this track on debut. Won recent trial and will be the one to run down.
ASHEMA is another coming back from a break. She took on some class race last time in work and was competitive. Two trials to get ready for this and she cannot be left out.
RANVEER won on the heave at Hillside at only start last time in work. Looks a smart colt with two spaced runs. Would not be surprised to see him right in the mix.
Tip: GENERAL BEAU
ANNAVISTO was enormous here first-up as she covered plenty of extra ground and it still took a smart one to beat her. Sure to be better from the run and she can get away with this.
LUNAKORN comes out of the same race as Annavisto last start and she looked like she needed the run. She has a solid second-up record and must include her in winning chances.
GALGANI raced on speed and fought the race out strongly when just out of placings here last start. Drawn ideally and she looks nice each way odds in this field.
DAWSON DIVA resumes. She has a fresh win on her resume’ and at cricket score odds could be one for first four players to get some value.
Tip: ANNAVISTO
I have been on NONCONFORMIST at both runs this time in and watched him closely and he has been luckless both efforts. Run to be beaten less than a length at The Valley last start was enormous. He is going to win a nice race this Spring.
TRALEE ROSE is a class staying mare who looked like she would benefit from her first-up run here last start when made good late ground. Drawn to get perfect run in transit and she can win.
ANGEL OF TRUTH comes into this third-up from spell. He has not been beaten all that far in either run back from spell and gets his chance to breakthrough here.
AMADE resumes from spell. Import who finished last campaign with an exciting Flemington win and recent trial win suggests he will run a cheeky race fresh.
Tip: NONCONFORMIST
PROBABEEL returned in super style winning with 60kg here first-up from spell. Won the Futurity last time she was at Group 1 level at Caulfield and from ideal barrier she should get her chance to win again.
The big boy BEHEMOTH fought the race out tenaciously to win the G1 Memsie this track/distance last start. Loves this circuit and no reason he cannot make it three straight this prep.
I’M THUNDERSTRUCK is the up and comer and in form galloper coming into this. He looks to have untapped potential and although steps out to Group 1 level he can measure up.
BEAU ROSSA lost to Behemoth in the stewards room two starts back then looked a touch unlucky not to have beaten him in the Memsie. Expect he will not be far away again.
Tip: PROBABEEL
I am going to have something each way on the Kiwi BONHAM who is having first start in Australia. Comes across with an impressive NZ record and from ideal barrier she should get here chance.
LA MEXICANA is ready to find best form third-up from spell. Not been beaten all that far in two runs back from spell and although drawn little wide she can figure in the finish.
BELLA NIPOTINA led all the way for good strong win here two starts back then got going late around The Valley last start. Back to Caulfield could be the winning move.
MISS ALBANIA fought the race out tenaciously to win at Flemington two back then made good late ground at The Valley. Tough barrier but a must for exotics.
