Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s Belmont meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races. Good luck, punters!

Rail Position: Out 6m entire circuit

AZTEC RULER was impressive winning here on debut and out to the 1200m looks ideal and she can make it two from two. Should start the day with a winner.

EL PATRON showed a nice turn-of-hoof and got the job done here last start. Sure to be better from the experience and although drawn wide must consider.

DIAMOND COMMAND won here on debut then she has been placed in two runs since. Another that needs luck from wide barrier but must consider.

Tip: AZTEC RULER

SPEEDY MISS comes into this ready third-up from a sell. Had perfect run and stuck on for brave placing here last start. That form good enough to get away with this.

The two runs of I’M PRETTY back from spell have been better than finishing positions suggest and she has not been beaten all that far. Drawn perfectly and she will be in finish.

FLICKA’S CHANCE won here two starts back then he was beaten less than a length in a blanket finish last start. Only needs to hold that form to get away with this.

Tip: SPEEDY MISS

SAVAGE ONE controlled the race from the front here last start and he was never in danger. Drawn to drive through and lead again and he will be the one they have to catch.

NO APOLOGY finished too well for a well deserved win here last start. He has been racing consistently and may go on with it now he has won.

BEAT THE BRO can mix his form and be hard to catch but he was placed here last start and from inside gate will get all the favours. Must include in multiples.

Tip: SAVAGE ONE

PHANTA started favourite here first-up and he jumped to the front and controlled the race before bursting away last 200m for dominant win. Only needs to produce that form to win this.

GINGER FLYER chased home soundly but just could not run leader down here first-up. Sure to strip fitter and she can go one better in this.

SECRET DEPLOY should have finished much closer here first-up. He was running into the race late before being badly held-up. Drawn ideally and can improve off that effort.

Tip: PHANTA

BLACK FANTASY started long odds on and he proved too strong winning the Aquanita Stakes last start. Finds a similar field and he can complete the double.

OUTSPOKEN LAD chased home Black Fantasy when placed in the Aquanita Stakes last start. Should be suited with the extra 200m and will be in finish again.

FLOWER IN THE WIND should have arguably won the Belmont Oaks last start. Held-up at a vital stage and went to the line under a hold. She can bounce back.

Tip: BLACK FANTASY

SLUICE BOX won with something in hand here two starts back then just missed last start. Drawn perfectly and he will be in this for a long way.

STARTRADE won two in a row then just got too far back last start before running on into late placing. Has inside barrier and he can bounce back to winners stall.

RELIABLE STAR has been racing in super form winning his last couple this track. She does find a tougher test here but cannot knock winning form.

Tip: SLUICE BOX

MY BABY BLUE JEAN was horrible here first-up and had no real excuses. She is a much better filly than that run suggests and going to forgive one bad run.

BEADS got the prize here three starts back and she has not been beaten all that far in two runs since. He can be a frustrating gelding at times but no doubting his ability.

CAPITAL FLIGHT just keeps winning. Made it three in a row when powered away final stages here last start. Touch harder but cannot knock winning form.

Tip: MY BABY BLUE JEAN

SNEAKY CHANCE only just missed when failed to run down Nowhiteflag here last start. She never runs a bad race and from perfect barrier this her chance to win.

Forget that VANE TEMPEST went around here last start when she blew the start and was never close. If she can jump with them she looks nice each way odds in this.

WARM ‘N’ FUZZY led them up and held them all off for gutsy win here last start. If he can get his own way leading again he can win this.

Tip: SNEAKY CHANCE

THE VELVET QUEEN deserves a win this campaign and thought she was one of the better bets on the day. She has been beaten less than a length in all three starts this time in and goes on top in this.

SHAKE THE BOOM won her first couple of starts this prep then made good late ground when beaten just over a length last start. She only needs that form to be in the mix again.

OVERTHOUGHT comes into this ready third-up from a spell. Beaten less than a length in both runs back and at the odds she looks nice each way odds.

Tip: THE VELVET QUEEN

NOWHITEFLAG lost his chance when uncharacteristically tardy from the start last outing and he was never close. Looking for him to find the front in this and he can return to winners stall.

BRIGHT DIAMOND sprinted quickly and won with something in hand two starts back then she she was not beaten all that far last outing. Third-up and not without a chance.

MCCOVEY COVE is having his first start in Perth. Followed him when he raced in Queensland and he was competitive in some nice races. Drawn ideally and must respect.
