Rail Position: Out 8m entire circuit

Last couple of runs for CITY CIRCLE have been better than her finishing positions suggest when not beaten all that far. Should get perfect run behind the speed and will get her chance at some stage in straight.

SNIPPY MISS comes into this ready third-up from spell. She has been placed in both runs back and this a nice race for her.

EXPRESS TIME looked like she would benefit from first-up run when weakened final stages. She will go forward and expect her to take catching last 200m.

DEW WEST proved too strong to starts back winning at Ascot then she had perfect run but just held ground last start. If she can find form from two back she will be right in this.

Tip: CITY CIRCLE

ASTRAPE is on the quick back-up from Wednesday. She just had to do too much work to get outside leader. Looked winner when hit the front at 200m but just peaked on run since. She gets chance to break maiden status.

DISENGO came from the back when placed here last start. Drawn to sit a little closer and with ounce of luck from the corner he will take holding out.

GUARD THE SAFE was making good late ground but just found one better on the line here last start. This looks no harder and cannot leave him out of winning chances.

KIA ORA JEWEL is a debutant who has been solid enough with two minor placings in both trials. This not difficult at first start and she may sneak a place on debut.

Tip: ASTRAPE

SON SON won with something in hand at Ascot two starts back then was claimed final stages here last start. Will go forward and if he can get soft lead will take catching.

SHE’S GOD TO YOU was placed in Listed company behind the smart Graceful Girl here last start. If she can hold that form she will be right in the mix.

GHOST WHO WALKS kept grinding away and finished too well to win here two starts back then was little flat second up. Gets his chance to bounce back third-up from spell.

JEDI MIND has won both starts this time in work. Odds on here last start and just finished too well for them. Cannot leave him out of winning chances.

Tip: SON SON

BEAT THE BRO had no luck early when always wide here first-up from spell but he stuck on bravely and held on for second spot. Will get much better run in transit and can get away with this.

SECRET STATUE looks ready to win. Comes into this third-up from spell and been placed in both runs back. He gets his chance in this field.

ZEPHYR QUEEN kept grinding away final stages when placed behind Billy Ray here last start. She is ready to find best form third-up from spell and cannot be left out of multiples.

HOLY GHOST has been racing better than finishing positions suggest of late when not beaten all that far. Drawn touch awkwardly but a must for first four players.

Tip: BEAT THE BRO

DEVOTED STAR should have won first-up from spell when just ran into tight room late. Fitter and she gets her chance to go on better.

PULI jumped to the front and held off late challenge for gutsy win here last start. Expect he will drive through and lead these again and he will take some catching last 200m.

OHBEEH found the front and controlled the race to win here first-up. May find bit more speed in this but he will go forward and put himself in a winning position. Must include.

Only race fitness that cost AGENT JAY here first-up from spell. Led them up and when challenged straightening stuck on well before fading last 100m. Sure to be better from the run.

Tip: DEVOTED STAR

PANZDOWN just keeps winning. Made it four in a row winning at Ascot last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in behind the speed and should get his chance at some stage in straight.

THIS’LL TESTYA has just found one better in her last two starts but not been beaten all that far. Should get nice run off the speed and will have last crack at these.

Liked the way NERODIO finished the race off to win here last start. Likely to be plenty of speed up front for him and he can finish over the top of these.

MADAM TORIO is the speed. She knocked up badly after setting cracking speed first-up. Better from the outing and she will be the one they have to run down.

Tip: PANZDOWN

Going to stick with Pike at bit of odds and have something each way on ZARATITE in this. He is fresh from spell and will want further than this but he comes off solid Lark Hill trial win and will be primed for this.

NOT TO BE MIST should have finished a little closer to the in-form Billy Ain’t Silly here last start when blocked at vital stage. Drawn to get perfect run and should get chance last 200m.

NAUGHTY BY NATURE made good late ground and got very close to Leading Girl here last start. She comes into this third-up from spell and this a nice race for her.

STARALIGN led throughout to win at Ascot two starts back then raced on the speed and battled on well to hold placing here last start. Drawn perfectly and he looks a major player.

Tip: ZARATITE

LEADING GIRL returned to racing in a winning mood when she finished too well here first-up. Strips fitter and although awkwardly drawn she can measure up to these.

THE VELVET KING came back to Perth and was dominant sprinting away for clear Group 3 win here first-up. Drawn to get the perfect sit and will look winner at some stage in straight.

KAY CEE will be much better from her first-up run when just failed to finish off behind The Velvet King. Fitter and she will be an improver.

DANCE MUSIC comes into this ready third-up from spell. Placed in Roma Cup fresh then again ran into minor spot in Belmont Sprint. Only needs to hold that form to be right in the mix.

Tip: LEADING GIRL

BLACKWATER BAY has been impressive winning his last couple with a strong finishing burst. Finds similar race and no reason he cannot make it three in a row.

SECRET PEARL finished too well to win at Ascot two starts back then kept coming here last start without threatening. Looking for her to bounce back in this field.

BORN TO TRY looked touch unlucky not to have beaten Blackwater Bay here last start when held-up back inside before driving through late. Only needs that form to be in finish again.

BLACK SHADOW has been racing in consistent fashion of late with four solid placings leading into this. He only needs ounce of luck to be right in the mix.
