Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s Ascot meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 9 races. Good luck, punters!

Rail Position: Out 5m entire circuit

DEVOTED started odds on and he was too strong at Northam on debut. Sure to be better from the race experience and looks city class. Can make it two in a row.

SIX CARAT was well beaten at Northam first-up from spell but stable thought enough of her to take on Karrakatta Plate last prep and expect her to improve.

MULTINATIONAL resumes from spell. She was dominant at only his second start at Belmont first prep and recent trial will have him ready for this.

Tip: DEVOTED

ROMAN FLIRT showed an impressive turn of hoof and put the race beyond doubt in a couple of strides here last start. Pike stays aboard and she can win again.

SECRET PEARL has not been racing as well as she can in recent starts but if she can produce her best she would give this a shake.

BARAMAGIC looks the likely speed and he was brave when just missed placing last start. Comes into this third-up and if he gets own way will take catching.

QUEEN TAKES KING looked like she needed the run when well beaten first-up. She has won two of three second-up starts and must include based on that stat alone.

Tip: ROMAN FLIRT

The key with APPLE SCHNAPPS will be the start. He is racing in consistent form and if he can jump with them should get away with this.

IMAGE KEEPER looked like he would benefit from his run first-up at Belmont when only weakened final stages. Drawn to get perfect run in transit and must include in winning chances.

JAGUAR GREY had perfect run when drove through to win at Belmont two starts back then was not beaten all that far when placed last start. She will be in mix again.

FLICKA’S CHANCE is working through his classes with ease winning both starts this time in. This harder but cannot knock wining form and must include again.

Tip: APPLE SCHNAPPS

KARIJINI AURORA has won three of her last four starts and all with something in hand. She looks versatile and can be ridden from any position. She can win again.

REBEL KNIGHT is threatening to win a race like this. Placed in last three starts and from ideal barrier he will look winner at some stage in the straight.

NO APOLOGY was not all that far off them at Belmont last start. Drawn to get ideal run in behind the speed and he will get his chance. Must include in winning chances.

SON OF BACCHUS was an eye catcher here first-up when made good late ground. Sure to be better from that outing and would not leave out of exotics.

Tip: KARIJINI AURORA

SPRITELY STAR started short favourite at Northam first-up and she bolted in. Won second-up at first prep and she should go on with it here.

MY FURY is in winning form. Gave them a galloping lesson in city maiden two starts back then backed that up with another soft win last start. This not beyond her.

CELEBRITY WITNESS is another that just keeps winning and she was strong late at Northam last start. Will sit off the speed and can finish over them again.

LITTLE FLIRT drove through when finally in the clear at Northam last start and won with authority. Two wins from last three and a must for first four players.

Tip: SPRITELY STAR

TRIPLE MISSILE resumes from spell. Won both starts fresh and only defeat came in Listed company when placed. Recent trial will have him ready for this.

VADETTE DE STAR resumes from spell. Her only win came this track on debut then she was competitive in some nice races after. Talented and won recent Lark Hill trial.

FOREST WAR resumes from spell. He has won fresh and raced consistently last time in work. Drawn perfectly and cannot leave out of chances first-up.

DOUBLE JEOPARDY finished the race too well to win at Belmont last start. Comes into this third-up from spell and although drawn widely can win again.

Tip: TRIPLE MISSILE

INDIAN PACIFIC resumes from spell. He has won three of four first-up tries and placed in the other. Won recent Belmont trial with something in hand and he can get away with this.

BAM’S ON FIRE had a disappointing campaign last start but she was in Group races. Not flattered in a couple of trials leading into this but she has ability and would not leave her out.

STAGEMAN is another first-up from a break. He won the Listed Black Heart Bart when fresh last time in work and if he finds that form he can win this.

ELITE STREET was solid when returning to Perth late in campaign last time in work. Has won fresh and if he found best form would be right in this.

Tip: INDIAN PACIFIC

MASSIMO raced on the speed and fought the race out tenaciously to just miss first-up in the Black Heart Bart. Has race fitness on a few of these and that could be crucial last 200m.

WESTERN EMPIRE is the class runner resuming from a spell. He is sure to be better when he stretches out in distance but two recent trials impressive and he can win this.

VALOUR ROAD chased home strongly when grabbed minor spot first-up in the Black Heart Bart. Sure to be better from the run and he will be right in the mix.

DANCE MUSIC resumes from spell. Model of consistency when last in work with three solid placings and two recent trials will have her forward enough for this.

Tip: MASSIMO

Super mare REAL CHARISMA resumes from a spell. She won both starts when last in work and recent trial win suggests she will be right in the finish first-up.

BERET is threatening to win this prep with two solid placings leading into this. Should be primed third-up from spell and this a winnable race for her.

EM TEE AYE was close up when placed fresh then only one paced last start. Ready to find his best third-up and drawn ideally.

MOSCHARD only just missed at Kalgoorlie two starts back then started favourite in the Hannans Handicap but just held ground. He can sneak a place in this.
