TOO VIENNESE resumes from spell. Won his maiden at Sunshine Coast to finish first campaign and now in the Hawkes team he must be included in major chances.
CEEJAY was doing his best work final stages at Geelong first-up. He won his maiden second-up at Mornington at first prep and would not leave him out of place chances.
Liked the turn of hoof SEMENUK showed winning at Mildura on debut. This a harder task but looks like he will measure up to city class.
Tip: CRESTANI
NO QUARANTINE did a few things wrong at Sale on debut but he kept coming and won his maiden on raw ability. Looks to be above average and can make it two from two.
TURIN WARRIOR was heavily supported at Ballarat last start but just left run too late and just missed. Gets chance to go one better in this field.
JAY GATSBY had some excuses when pulled up with slow recovery at Pakenham before when disappointing. Has shown form previously and this not a difficult affair.
STAR OF MANHATTAN finished strongly winning at Bendigo two starts back then was disappointing at Swan Hill last start. Only needs form from two back to be a factor.

Sandown Lakeside R3 – BM70 Handicap 2400m
NORDIC PRIDE chased home Mr. Mooj here last start after a couple of solid provincial wins. Drawn bit awkwardly but gets apprentice claim and will not be far off these.
SLEEPLESS won as he liked on the wet ground at Ballarat two starts back then was making some good late ground at Hillside last start when just out of placings. He can sneak a place in this.
MR JOOBS won on the synthetic two starts back then chased home steadily here last start. Only needs to hold that form to be in multiples.
Tip: MR MOOJ
CARRIE jumped to the front and kicked away soon after straightening for dominant all the way win. She has drawn awkwardly but if she can cross and lead will take catching.
SHE’S ON TIME has been racing in consistent form. She took on Listed company two starts back and was not disgraced. Beaten less than a length on the heavy last start and she can figure in this.
NERVE NOT VERVE had no luck at Flemington last start when always wide and battled on well enough final stages. If she can get a better run she can surprise these.
VEE CECE showed good speed to lead at Swan Hill last start and just found one better in small field. She will sit forward and can sneak into a placing.
Tip: CARRIE
Going to have something each way on ARKHAM KNIGHT third-up from spell. Placed behind Sir Kalahad last start and that form good enough to get away with this.
CIELO D’ORO worked home strongly when beaten less than 3 lengths here last start. This looks no harder and he cannot be left out of chances.
WILMOT PASS comes into this off a couple of solid placings leading into this. Barrier is the major concern but if he can find a position in early stages he will be competitive.
TELL ME AGAIN resumes from spell. He was competitive in Listed company at Flemington before a break and his ability will take him a long way in this.
Tip: ARKHAM KNIGHT
SMOKIN ROMANS deserves another win after three close placings in last three starts. This looks a winnable race and he is top pick in this.
VEGAS KNIGHT was game fighting back to win at Flemington two starts back then was nabbed late by Lunar Flare last start. He is racing well enough to be in finish.
TAVIRUN raced up on the speed before tiring late at Flemington last start. He should get nice run in behind the speed and if gets run at right time can figure.
DUKE OF PLUMPTON fought the race out strongly when placed here last start and he is a must for first four players in this field.
Tip: SMOKIN ROMANS
Last couple of runs for OH MO have been better than finishing positions suggest. Beaten less than 2 lengths in Group 3 company in Adelaide last start and that form good enough for this.
PROMOTIONS comes into this third-up from spell. Been bit one paced in his two runs back but this not a difficult affair and cannot leave out.
INFLUENTIAL JACK fought the race out strongly when placed here last start. Comes into this ready to find best form third-up and he looks a winning chance.
JUST JAKE broke through for a well deserved win when dominant at Bendigo last start. Placed in two previous starts and he only needs to hold that form to be in the mix.

NIKAU SPUR is a smart gelding who started odds on last start and got the job done despite wide run throughout. He can win again.
Finding BEEHUNTER a little expensive of late but he comes into this third-up from spell and has not been all that far off them of late. Going with him again.
D’AGUILAR resumes from spell for the Patrick Payne stable. Won two of his four starts and looked good winning heavy track trial at Tatura recently. If any support from stable much follow.
WHITE HIBISCUS is another first-up from spell. She was beaten favourite at Hillside before going for a break. She has been placed in both first-up tries and cannot leave out of multiples.
Tip: NIKAU SPUR
Thought CHIEF ALTONY could win at Caulfield last Saturday but he was scratched and finds a better race here. He is clear top pick to end the program.
ORLEANS ROCK has been solid with two strong placings to begin this prep. Comes into this ready third-up from spell and like his chances in this field.
EXCELLERATION showed plenty of speed last start and was only claimed in last couple of strides to just miss. If he gets own way up front can win this.
ZOUSONIC just did not measure up in Listed company in Adelaide last start. Gets back in right race and watch for her to bounce back in this.
