Horse Racing Tips – Monday 7th December

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wagga Wagga meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 3 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 8m from 1400m to w/p, true rest

Interesting race. I like the look of the Mitch Beer-trained horse here, the toppie PERFECT ILLUSION. Even though he isn’t in great form he is 3rd up and the stable is flying with winners seemingly every day. He gets a 3kg claim here and is down a long way in class. Drawn perfectly too. Should sit about 5th throughout with cover and I suspect he rounds them all up as they turn and sprints clear in the stretch. MILAMOO is honest nd consistent nd can bob up for the quinella bet.

Tip: PERFECT ILLUSION  @ $8.00

Can’t wait to watch this race. I like PRINCE NICCONI for many reasons. One, his debut 5th was a strong gallop at Forbes then he was spelled. He resumes here. I also think racing is written in the stars and the fairytale endings are often showcased. This is the colt James Harron bought for trainer Danny Williams after his star 2YO Hot N Hazy lost its life in a fall in town. The other thing I like is he is by Nicconi and Nicconi had a winner and two placegetters at Rosehill last Saturday. So, breed, trainer and fairytale ending all on his side today.

Tip: PRINCE NICCONI @ $4.00

Fascinating affair here. It is a long way to come from Dubbo to Wagga to run a horse but I suspect the reason top central west trainer Clint Lundholm is doing it is because he rates his mare DON’T QUESTION ME. She is 3rd up this afternoon after a pair of slashing runs, latest when running fast time and a super fast last 600m sectional to place at Dubbo. Should get back but may power over the top of these late.

Tip: DON’T QUESTION ME @ $14.00
