Moruya R1 – Mdn Hcp 1200m Â
I think with having one run under his belt that LITTLEFOOT might be the one to hold out here. That one run will bring him on greatly and it was a strong run too, being last of 12 on the home bend over 1010m and rattling home to grab 5th, beaten 3 lengths. This is no harder and is 200m further. Interesting to note, on debut he was crunched from $20 into $13 late. The stable likes him. PLUCKY DAN has strong form also. So toss him in for the quinella bet.
Tip: LITTLEFOOT @ $3.20
Tamworth R5 – Cl 1 Hcp 1200mÂ
The 2YO AVALICIOUS will be backed on the strength of her powerful all-the-way win on debut. This is many lengths harder but she appears game. I like  the top weight here in ELUSIVE BABBZ. He is bred to be handy and he is. This time up he’s raced twice for a strong maiden win and a good 3rd in this grade. Loves it wet as he gets today. Certain to sit off the speed and charge late. They are my quinella players.
 Tip: ELUSIVE BABBZ @ $2.50
Moruya R7 – BM74 Hcp 1010m Â
Fascinating race. I do think that trainer Matty Dale has done well for his connections here by placing DISTILLATE in this race. She just looks a weighted special to me. I see her charging forward and leading and when they turn, kicking clear and winning comfortably. Today she is 3rd up. Last start, she compounded late after being on speed when 8th at Rosehill in a Highway. It was also on a Heavy like today but I rather think it was 2nd top syndrome than lack of desire late. Not enough mid-race speed to make her concerned about weakening today.
