Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Kensington meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 8 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 7

Rail Position: Out 4m entire

What a tough race to open the day. A few of these unraced horses looked strong in trials. BAROQUE ROAD being one. he led and won both his trials stretching out and looking strong. On home track here.

BERNASCONI didn’t win a trial but finished with them and wasn’t pushed along. Does look to have gears.

ORIENTAL TYCOON looks a big long striding cumbersome type but he can cover ground very quickly when asked to extend. Made up 3 lengths in last 50m to win a recent trial. Watch market.

Interesting race. FIRE POWER may well live up to his name. Just powered away to win recent trial. Should go hard from this gate and be right there all the way.

SHADOW VAMPIRE sat off speed then just exploded away to put a gap in his trial rivals. Yet to race but watch market. He looks very good.

So too does KOSHU. In fact the way she won her trial suggests she may be top notch. Big step up from trial to race but she just looks so impressive. Can finish.

DUKE OF GORDON is racing lights out at present. Going for 3 in a row today and although top weight here I doubt the handicapper has caught up with him. Big show.  Must be in your numbers after he crushed rivals at Wyong last star. Loves the mud.

BRILLAR is very honest and after winning maiden, has placed twice in similar races to this. Looks to run on here.

TERRAMEADES is a very fit filly and has talent two. Won in the bush, then at the provincials and debut city run when 3rd was a very solid effort. Big chance.

Interesting race.

Bush horse MAD AS ZARIZ doesn’t win many but is very reliable and tries hard. Suited to this ;level nd bound to be running on.

ESCAPED was lost in a big field when resuming last start. Fitter now and was responsible for a few really solid efforts at this level last campaign.

TROLL PENINSULA has not raced since going sore when beaten 41 lengths on Aussie debut at this level. Hughie stocks with him so he may be going very well. Watch market.

These are tough races. But you know this ITA will be right there. She is tough and so honest. Has placed 4 of past 5 starts at this BM level so must be in your numbers.

NIFFLER resumes here but you could cut and paste the comment re Ita for her. Trialled very impressively.

FINEPOINT won a pair of weaker races when last in work before spell. May need this run but has talent.

Oh I think HOLLYWOOD GOSSIP is well in here. When last in work, at this same BM 64 level, she was too strong after being on speed all the way. Looked good in recent trial when 2nd.

GLITTERY only had two starts last prep but did win when resuming at this level. Has trialled leading into this so must be strongly fancied to go close here first up.

It’s tough ask going from a m Aiden win to this but there is a bit of talk around re this filly PO KARE KARE. Resumes here but trial was a smart win.

Good win by FROM THE BUSH on a heavy in town this level last start. Was on speed all the way.  This is heavy too but out wide it should be in good enough nick. Can run better.Good race.

If last start is any accurate indicator then this SO UNITED might be the one here. His first up run to grab 5th over 1250m was outstanding and being fitter now, over more ground and on home track makes him a major threat.

COMME BELLA FILLE resumes here but is smart and has a great fresh record. Keep in your numbers.

BROKEN HILL can handle it wet and in two starts this time up has been on speed and going very close placing both times. Is super fit now and drawn perfectly. Looks very hard to beat.

Big step up in grade for DEEP FINESSE but he led all the way in the mud last start and brained a maiden field. Loves it work and Jay Mac has the mount now. Big danger.

They put a stack on late this CURTIS ISLAND last start and he ran a solid 2nd at this level on a heavy track. Where there is smoke there is fire.
