Kensington R1 – 2YO Open Hcp 1150m Â
CALIFORNIA DEEPLY was pretty impressive on debut. He ran wild with the leaders until they turned and he was just a bit too strong late to win. Pedigree likes these young horses. Looks hard too beat. Â Plus, he has been heavily backed overnight.
Similarly FIREBURN ran home very strongly to claim her 2YO win in town on a Saturday recently. She looks a powerful filly and gets a 3kg claim which makes her very well weighted on form to date. Big show.
PANTONARIO looks a promising type. Has speed and was 3rd in the Gimcrack behind a star filly on debut. Respect her. Experience and renewed fitness are on her side. Big show.

Kensington R2 – Cl 3 Highway Hcp 1400mÂ
ACTIVATION comes into this 2nd up after a poor run when resuming. He is much better than that. Big weight but did win a heat of the Ctry Champs so we know he can gallop. Did win in a recent trial.
MORGENSTERN resumed from a spell and was a good style of winner last start. It was at Bathurst over 1300m and he finished like a locomotive. Big show.
With no weight to carry STILL IN FASHION looms very large. Has a finishing kick. Drawn to get a great run.

Kensington R3 – BM78 Hcp (3YO+) 2400mÂ
If he runs up to his best I think HERMAN HESSE, now that he gets a 3kg claim, can go close here. He is very fit, a strong stayer at this level and in form. Big show.
Similarly this former British horse BORN A KING. He has yet to win this trip but races dour and placed this grade last start. Worth following though.
Similar story for the extremely honest BLACK QUEEN. This is similar to last start when she battled away this trip for 2nd spot. Is super honest and fit.

Kensington R4 – BM72 Midway Hcp (3YO+) 1100mÂ
Got to like the chances of HENSCHEL in this. He is 2nd up and he has a fantastic 2nd up record. Plus, he was 7th when resuming, beaten 4 lengths in a much stronger race. Gets in to this really well at the weights.
OSAMU is 2nd up and won 2nd up last campaign. Did a superb job hitting the line well when 4th and is suited here. The 1.5kg claim is a huge help too. Respect all that.
The pace will be on with the in form and very BUDHWAR here. Also gets a claim and is going to take running down.

Kensington R5 – BM78 Hcp (F&M) 1100mÂ
IRISH ANGEL looked good winning first up hitting the wire hard then backed up with a solid run when 3rd in a similar race last start. Gets a 1.5kg help here. Might be the spark she needs. Is capable.
There was a lot to like about the way bush horse FRITZ’S FACTOR strung three in a row last campaign. Failed first-up but better placed now. Should be fitter too.
FORZANINI is more than handy and shows up all the time. Is honest and is 3rd up. Goes well and has won past two in weaker grade but honesty is a big asset.

Kensington R6 – BM100 Hcp (3YO+) 1550mÂ
PURPLE SECTOR looked outstanding and back in terrific shape when 2nd after sitting wide when resuming last start. Get a 2kg claim to help here. Is trained here and is very fit.
KIRWAN’S LANE gutted it out in a similar race after being ridden nearer the lead than normal last start. Quick back-up in this and is ready to run a blinder again.
BIGBOYROY will be on speed all the way and will, now that he is 3rd up, be battling away at the end. Is much fitter now. Big danger.

Kensington R7 – BM78 Hcp (3YO+) 1000mÂ
I think LEO may improve, and be a big player today. Resumed from spell with a tremendous effort after being well back and trapped behind horses last start finishing 4th. Huge hope.
DRAGONSTONE looked awesome and headed for much better grade when he won first-up. Then made a move but run down by a star in the making last start when 2nd. Should win this.
VAN GIZ is smart when right and showed last start when 2nd in this company that he is ready to fire up.

Kensington R8 – BM78 Hcp 1550m Â
TOOMUCHTOBEARÂ resumed from a spell last start boasting good form and showed he had improved a great deal finishing hard to win a BM 72 very impressively. Harder here but he looks smart.
VCANASTA will be on speed and will be in the finish too. Is 4th up and has improved every run this time in. Â Big show.
FOR VALOUR is in best career form. Will lead these and has won 3 of past 4 starts. On home track today.

Kensington R9 – BM72 Hcp 1300mÂ
Hard to truly evaluate this one because form is from everywhere but gee I did like the way CONSTRUCT stretched out when 11th for home and running 2nd this grade last start when resuming. On home track here and should be flashing late.
SNITZONFIRE is also at home and is a pretty tough horse. Won his first 3 and then 4th but last start on speed and a great 3td in a better race last start. Â Big show.
I AM LETHAL has raced just 5 times and is showing tremendous talent. Finished very hard to impressively win a slightly easier race last start. Gets 3kh claim here too. Drawn to get a great run.

Kensington R10 – BM78 Hcp (4YO+) 1300mÂ
RUBAMOS is in career best form and is simply flourishing. Doing plenty of racing but just keeps bringing home the bacon. Terrific run to win this grade last start.
EXOTIC RUB Y could read exactly the same. Gets a welcome 3kg allowance too and has the rails draw. Worth following though.
QUEEN BELLISSIMO has won 2 of 3 this campaign and is showing that beautiful, rare quality fo being extremely consistent. Must be included.
