Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at every runner in Saturday’s Group 1  Morphettville Australasian Oaks with horse racing tips for the first four. Read on to see how he maps on this race and assesses the race. Good luck, punters!

1. EL PATRONESS (8) 33128×3381

T: Danny O’Brien /J: – (56kg)

2. BARB RAIDER (14) 21135×1120

T: Jerome Hunter/ J: Craig Williams (56kg)

Brilliant form when the track is in good order. Never a threat in the mud at Randwick in a Gr 1 and will find this a lot easier. Needs to find a slot from this bad draw but has the talent.

3. DAISIES (17) 456125×413

T: Mick Price & Michael Kent/ J: Mark Zahra (56kg)

Very solid filly at this level. Did knock over a few of these recently in the Gr 3 Alexandra at The valley. Was 2nd in the Gr 2 Wakeful last prep and she looks very well placed here.

4. BON’S A PEARLER (5) 3110×65322

T: Kev Corstens / J: Jack Hill  (56kg)

Does look the one to beat. Gave a kilo to Daises and was beaten half a length when motoring home late, then gave 3kg to My Whisper when beaten 3/4 of a length last start over 1800m here. Weighted on par now and trip suits. Big danger.

5. DOUCEUR (15) 127632×030

T: Patty Payne / J: Michael Dee (56kg)

Talented by queries exist as to whether she has come up this prep. was a brave 2nd in the gr 1 VRC Oaks last spring being on pace all the way. Been ridden back in 3 starts this prep and is yet to fire a decent shot. Place.

6. MY WHISPER (3) 7×1111

T: Team Snowden / J: Jamie Kah (56kg)

Interesting galloper. Looks to have enormous upside. Has won her past 4 on the trot with each run increasing in distance and depth. This is the furthest she has run and is bred to get it. Beat Bon’s A Pearler and Mac ‘N’ Cheese comfortably last start. Big show.

7. MAC ‘N’ CHEESE (18) 22149×113

T: Team McEvoy / J: Barend Vorster (56kg)

Looks a quality stayer in the making. Won the Listed Lindop here over a mile then up to Gr 3 level and a hard finishing 3rd to My Whisper. Is in form and has talent. Respect all that but will have to come from a mile back.

8. MAMOUNIA (20) 7651×231

T: James Cummings / J: Damien Oliver (56kg)

Very handy and has had a meteoric rise after easily winning a 2000m man at Newcastle. then was stakes placed at Randwick before last start winning in good time at Caulfield over 2400m, Can stay this right out.

9. FORTUNATE KISS (4) 12557×4144

T:  Dan Bowman/ J: Harry Coffee (56kg)

Good honest tough filly who gives every impression she can stay all day. But hasn’t won past 1400m. Has made useful ground at past two lead-ups over a mile. Place though.

10. GLINT OF HOPE  (2) 23327×123

T: Trent Busuttin & Nat Young/ J: Daniel Moor (56kg)

Good filly who might be the knock out hope here. Can stay all day and is coming into this 4th up. Carried 4.5kg more than My Whisper when beaten a nose by her over a mile then last start rattled home from way, way back to just fail at C’field. Big threat.

11. LADY CHANT (12) 2×2315

T: Brock Lewthwaite /J: Glyn Schofield (56kg)

Looks nicely in here and can stay we know that. Has the WA Oaks over 2400m under her belt already and last start made up a lot of ground when 5th in the WA Derby over 2400m. Should be running on hard.

12. ANCIENT GIRL (1) 148×13197

T: Clint McDonald / J: Ethan Brown (56kg)

Has talent. Likes to get up on pace. Is a stakes winner here over a mile in March. Past two runs have been below par for this however.

13. PRETTY AMAZING (19) 81110

T: Chris Waller/ J: Damien Thornton (56kg)

Take her last start 10th to Fangirl at Gr 1 level out, and she does look the one to beat. Scored on a wet track to impressively to claim the Kembla Classic over a mile. Worth another chance.

14. SO YOU SEE (10) 1462

T: Michael Moroney/ J:  Jamie Mott (56kg)

Has talent and will win races, and at stakes level. But this is her 5th start and failed to win , albeit by a nose, a BM 64 last start at Sale. Later.

15. STRAY (13) 4969×14905

T: Anthony Cummings / J: Jake Toeroek (56kg)

Sydney filly with ability but seems, on recent efforts, to be a length or so inferior to the better ones. Beaten 3 lengths when 5th to My Whisper last start.

16. MORRISSETTE (7) 43x4446x17

T: Simon Ryan / J: Kayla Crowther (56kg)

She can stay and was 6th in the VRC Oaks last spring. Is 3rd up into this and last start was also beaten 3 lengths by My Whisper. Is fitter now and can sneak a place.

17. BUNDLE OF FUN (6) 4321413315

T: Pat Payne / J: John Allen (56kg)

This is a good staying filly and she rates highly. Did win the Tasmanian Oaks easily over 2100m and last start was a powerful finishing 5th at a mile. Include in your numbers.

18. ROOTS (9) 123×165

T: Chris Waller / J: –  (56kg)

Form is handy and Jas finishing power but has not won past 1200m. Next campaign.

19. THE MAP (16) 1×3138

T: Dan Clarjen & Oopy MacGillivray / J: – (56kg)

Handy local filly who won here at a mile, then was 3rd at stakes level to Mac ‘N’ Cheese before beaten 3 lengths by My Whisper last start. Can run on but placate best.

20. BLACKCOMB (11) x522590x15

T: Danny O’Brien/ J:  – (56kg)

Won Maiden over 1600m then 5th here beaten a long way. Not keen.
