MISS IN CHARGE ran a bottler in a very strong maiden when resuming from a spell last start. She has talent and this probably isn’t as hard. So comes here fitter and in a race she looks very well placed in. Big, big show.
SANTORINI SUN was placed this track and grade on debut coming from near last on the bend with an eye-catching effort. Â Is in a stable that is in form and she was backed overnight.
TAVI L’AMOUR worked home really well in a trial recently showing she has wheels and has finishing talent. Tough assignment first up but looks right up to it.
Tip: MISS IN CHARGE
Lots of chances here. BEND THE KNEE might be worth a tote ticket. He was beaten a long way in his recent trial, but just didn’t try an inch for the first 800m then rocketed when asked. Â Being drawn well and with Hughie on may mean something, and may help today.
MINSK MOMENT won a recent trial easily and last start coasted around when 3rd. On debut here but stable rates him highly so watch betting.
GARMISH is a very well bred colt, yet to be beaten in a couple of trials. Has a lot of talent. Terrific contest.
Tip: MINSK MOMENT
On debut BARRICHELLO made good ground late to place 4th in town in a similar race. Then even more impressive when 3rd this grade last start. Must strip better for that effort and has Jay Mac on top today.
VANILLA SKY resumes here with a nice trial under her belt but more importantly in his first campaign she placed in a tough maiden so clearly has enough talent.
ELECTRIC was a great 3rd on debut and these Team Hawkes horses improve considerably with a run under their belts. Â Much fitter now so looms large.
Tip: ELECTRIC
Tough race here with a few hopes. ONEMORE SAPPHIRE is in great form and more important is super fit. Big weight here but runner-up this company at past two. Lots of speed here so sits behind and comes home hard. This is winnable.
OFF HER ROCHA is ready. Was placed this grade in recent starts and is ready to burst through. Has been strong late in past few this grade and there is a sense of timing about him today.
SAVVY LEGEND is up in class but he is racing with gusto winning on a wet track at Newcastle over a mile last start. Fit enough to be near speed all the ay. Is on the improve every run.
Tip: ONEMORE SAPPHIRE
Good race. EL COHETE is 3rd up here and is in the right race after a solid 7th when resuming and an even better placing this grade last start. Did win 2nd up last campaign. Looks perfectly placed in this. Strong claims.
ALREADY BLESSED runs well in this class. Last start was set a task in a strong, fast BNM 78 on a Saturday. was beaten 5 lengths and this field is probably 8 lengths easier! Quick back-up suits too. Will sit back and be competitive late.
ASSAULT’N’BATHORY is fast and fresh. Will drive to the front and try and lead all the way. Â Respect.
Tip: ALREADY BLESSED
Interesting race because lots of different types in this. By this stage track will be cut right up so they probably will get wide. JUNGLE BOOK is very fit and just got lost last start in a tougher race. Will get wide late and charge home.
GREEK HERO is 2nd up and previous campaigns he showed good fight when 2nd up. Late in the day is a worry but he is the class factor in the race and his 7th when resuming was a fair effort.
At the weights CONFESSED has strong claims. Did win a Cl 1 race last start at Newcastle. Yes this is much harder but she won it with authority and on a heavy track with no weight she will test these heavily weighted types late. . Â Expect her to be near last out of the way of the mud, all the way.
