Kensington R2 – Bm72 (3YO+) 1550m
I like the cut of this gelding JOURNALISM’S jib. He is getting better with every start and today will be his 10th race. He’s won 3 already and he is an on pace runner which is suited in this race. Probably leads and kicks as they turn. Is 3rd up and this is his home track. Looks a great bet.
Tip: JOURNALISM
Kensington R3 – Mdn Plate (3YO) 1400m
We have a heavily supported fav with James McDonald aboard here in the top weight. His name is HOLLYWOOD HERO and he does look a lock for this running double. Two starts to date, both at this level and he’s run two placings. Super fit now and has been absolutely smashed overnight with the corporate bookies.
Tip: HOLLYWOOD HERO
Kensington R5- BM72 (5YO+) 1800m
Good open race with a toppie who has been asked to lump 64kg around. I’m going away from him and am banking on CHATEAUX PARK. I just feel he is ready to run on very hard out wide today. Probably settles near last but last start he showed he was ready to pounce when runner-up this grade. Big show.
Tip: CHATEAUX PARK
Sandown R5 – Class 1 Hcp 1300m
When you see money pouring in on one horse you are mad if you don’t pay attention. CRADLE OF LIFE has been very heavily upon overnight. Today is his 3rd start and he already has a maiden win under his belt. Get on.
Tip: CRADLE OF LIFE
Sandown R8 – BM70 (3YO +) Hcp 1400m
This really consistent gelding NETANYAHU looks very well placed now with the claim. And you just know he will run well because he always does. From 18 starts he has won 4 of them and been placed 10 times, including his past 6 runs in a row. Gets back and runs home hard. Is very fit too. Ran on at the Valley last start and this longer straight is a big help.
