LUCKY DECISION was in the market at Caulfield on debut. She sat just off the speed but just found race fitness lacking late. Had break since and must respect fresh.
Liked the way MASTERFUL chased home final stages when placed at Lakeside last start. Going to need some luck from wide gate and he can run into a minor spot.
PERIBALDO is the big query on debut. Not beaten all that far in only trial and if there is any money about for him must respect.
Tip: ENDLESSLY
Surely PORT LOUIS wins this if everything goes right. He has been racing competitively in Stakes races of late and back to maiden class this should be an easy win.
OUGHTON was making good late steady ground on debut before run ended final stages. Sure to be better from the race experience and he will be competitive.
BLUEJACK resumes from spell. Finished the race off strongly when placed at Sale before going for a break. Expect he will be bigger and stronger this campaign.
THE ECONOMIST did a few things wrong on debut but still kept battling away into minor spot. Drawn touch wide but better from the race experience.
Tip: PORT LOUIS
GATE CRASH resumes. He was impressive last 200m winning his maiden at Sale before going for a break. Will give them a starts but long Hillside straight will give him time to balance-up and win.
LOVE TAKES TIME was placed fresh then just battled final stages at Lakeside last start. Third-up from spell and she looks ready to find best form.
SOLD THE CAR is racing as if the step up to 1600m will be ideal. Won his maiden fresh and three runs since have been competitive. Must include him in multiples.
DEFIANT DIVA was doing best work late when placed at Lakeside last start. Gets out to the mile for the first time and she will be right in the mix.

VIVIANE overcame plenty of difficulties to get her maiden out of the way at Bendigo last start. Drawn ideally and she can go on with it here.
ROCK ARTIST resumes. Relished then heavy ground to win maiden with ease first-up then backed that up win another win at next start. Been racing in harder races and gets back in right race here.
Liked the way SPIRIT OF PEPIN accelerated to win his maiden at Warrnambool last start. Will get ideal run from inside gate and can win again.
I AM WAR looks the likely speed and led them up for a long way at Geelong last start. If he can get across and control this he will take catching.
Tip: VIVIANE
MARIAMIA created a big impression at The Valley two starts back when powered away to win by big space then she just missed in better race last start. Drawn ideally and looks tough to beat.
SPOONING resumes from spell. She won her maiden by a big space winning at Pakenham when first-up last prep. Drawn touch wide but he may be best when fresh and can win this.
BELLA TIARA has not been beaten all that far in any of her three runs this time in. Not disgraced in better race at Flemington last outing and cannot dismiss.
SURECAN is fresh from a break. She raced consistently at first prep including a maiden win at Ballarat winning by a space. Must respect.
Tip: MARIAMIA
PAL D’ORO could be the up and comer in this field. He started a short favourite first-up and got the job done with clear win. He can go on with it here.
SPACE FORCE won at Donald on debut then went to The Valley last start and just found one better. Drawn touch wide but he cannot be dismissed.
OBI never runs a bad race but just seems to find one better each start including first-up when placed behind a smart one. Fitter and he is not far off a well overdue win.
CLASSY BANNER fought the race out tenaciously to win at Mornington last start. Steps up in harder race but he can measure up.
Tip: PAL D’ORO
The two runs of GRACIAS AMIGO this prep have been better than finishing positions suggest. Gets out to the 1500m third-up from spell and from ideal barrier looks winning chance.
NIGHT PASSAGE started odds on at Donald two starts back but just left run a touch too late. Ridden closer last start and a little disappointing. Expect they will go back with her here and run on late.
UNANIMOUS powered home final stages and got the prize at Warrnambool last start. Now he has broken through he may go on with it here.
GALACTIC EXPRESS should have won at Lakeside last start. Poor start cost him and even though he hit the front last 200m he peaked on run and just missed. A must for exotics.

MY DELIGHT started favourite at The Valley last start but could only run into a distant minor placing. This not a difficult affair and she can figure in this.
WHO’S YOUR PAPY looked unlucky not to have won at Donald last start. Held up at vital stage in straight before driving late to just miss. Gets chance to go one better.
Liked the way CONVICT SAM finished the race off to win at Lakeside last start. He comes into this third-up from spell and can win again.
OBEDIENCE demolished them at Bendigo first-up from spell. She finds a harder race but drawn ideally and cannot leave her out.
