Horse Racing Tips – Randwick | Sat 7th August

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN previews Saturday’s Randwick , with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 5m entire

The three runs this time up for VRENELI have been progressions Strong 3rd this grade last start and he’s on top of the ground here, is on his home track, is now 4th up and from this gate will charge forward. Expect a much better run. Keep him safe.

DIAMONDS’N’STONES gets a welcome 2kg weight relief and his first up 4th when hitting the line strongly this company was full of merit. Fitter now so is expected to go close.

Interesting to see how smart this boom filly LARKSPUR RUN is today. Won well at Newcastle then spelled and resumed last start with a powerhouse display of speed late to win slightly easier race easily. No wight, but is up in class.

So many chances in this. On his day, HARPO MARX is profoundly better than these. Two starts back he showed that but got too far back on a biased track last start and his run to get 5th was good. Should atone. Respect.

TERWILLIKER was taken to the front last start in this class and led until near home running a much improved 2nd. Looks to assume the lead again early here and is super fit. Should take a lot of catching.

ARABOLINI make take beating. He is fast and strong winning two easier races quite comfortably leading all the way, then up into a strong race than this and led before running a super and close-up 3rd. Problem he faces is a couple like to lead in this.  Big show.

Tip: HARPO MARX

The 2kg weight allowance is going to be the favour of BOLD AND WILD here. He is now particularly fit and ran home gamely to place 3rd this grade last run over 1500m after being on pace all the way. Less mid-race tempo here and should be right in this too.  Is very honest.

REBELLIOUS MISS has found her mojo and stormed home to win at past two runs, at Gundagai by 6 lengths then on speed and at Nowra over a mile on the heavy. This is harder but is red to like the trip and seems to be better the further they run.

NOTHING COMPARES has won two from past four this time up and is improving every run. Should settle back and has wheels late.

Tip: BOLD AND WILD

 

Just put on repeat. Brock Ryan takes 2kg off very impressive galloper at this level in GREAT HOUSE in this. He is 4th up and just looks to have the talent to rise through the grades.  Gives the impression this will suit.

Speaking of honest gallopers this bloke MATAWATAKPE is just that. Two wins from past two, yes at the midweeks, have been so strong coming with powerful bursts each time. Harder here but is honest. Must be in your numbers.

Be aware of LOVEPLANET. Stable rate him highly. Won over 1400m in easier grade last start in Melbourne then sent here. Is very honest and strong late.  Looms very large.

Tip: GREAT HOUSE

Hughie goes onto last start winner CASINO MONDIAL who came with a barnstorming run to win first up this grade. Goes up in weight but should be fitter.. Looks to run into this race late and does boast better form the these in the past.

His stablemate MARGIE BEE has no option but to sprint from the gates here. Drawn right off the course but saying that, if she finds the front and fence unscathed, she is very tough and will take catching.  Big show.

ONMORE SAPPHIRE  is strong and is in form. Stormed home in recent starts at this level to place four times on the bounce. Has been backed overnight too.  Is very fit.

Tip: 1. MARGIE BEE

STARLA is a big strong mare who boomed home in this grade to win last start. Up a little in weight but a mare in form, and a strong one at that, has big claims.

STELLAR PAULINE is on home track here and meets 3.5kg better for being just 2 lengths behind her last start. Query because she hasn’t good track form but is fit. Stable seems confident. Big danger.

The top two finished first and 3rd and splitting them was TURNSTYLE who jumped to the front and tried to lead all way. Isn’t served th best at the weights but is fast. Should like track being firm.

Tip: 1. STELLA PAULINE

 

What a terrific race. KOLDING is the class horse. Has the big weight but has won first up in the past and comes here with two trials under his belt. Will be in the finish.

The lightly raced PHOBETOR is pretty smart and may have a good campaign. Did get narrowly beaten in the Ramornie last start when unlucky. Has finishing power. Is very fit and did win two runs back so has the talent. Have in your numbers..

FASIKA is first up and has great first up stats. Possesses enormous speed and carries no weight here. Watch market.

Tip: 1. FASIKA

 

This guy PAULELE is the best performed having won last campaign at Gr 3 level. Trialled really well but is giving fitness and weight to a bunch of fast ones here. Can run on though..

MAZU is smart and is trained here. Only had two starts and they were last campaign but showed Black type talent. Trialled nicely. Big danger.

IN THE CONGO is also trained here and is very fast. No doubt contests the lead from the get go and can keep going. Two starts into his career has a win and beaten a nostril last start. Weighted top win this.

 

Tip: 1. MAZU

 

I think you just have to hope smart mare ENFLEURAGE has come back in good shape. She was looking like a bonafide Black type hope last time in. Has trialled really well in recent weeks and the money has come for her.

HULK is honest and fit and will get back but should dash home. Races well in this grade. Big chance in this.

SIXGUN looked good when flashing home when finally on a good track last start. Got the prize. It was slightly weaker but is in form and is very strong late.

Tip: 1. ENFLEURAGE

HANDSPUN hasn’t won for a while but has good stats at this level. First up run was a very handy 3rd and is fitter now.  Looks a really good bet. Is 2nd up.

TYCOONIST hasn’t the best draw but does have pace so goes forward and puts himself into the fray. Is extremely fit too and is very honest. Won or placed at past four runs this level. Big danger but watch betting.

PROMOTIONS is a lightweight hope. Not so much to win but is fit and likely to dash late and run a place.
