Horse Racing Tips – Randwick | Sat 31st July

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN previews Saturday’s Randwick , with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 12m from 900m to w/p, 10m remainder 

The two runs this time up for VRENELI have been poor. But, he’s on top of the ground here, is on his home track, is now 3rd up and from this gate will rill forward. Expect a much better run. Keep him safe.

SELEQUE is rising in class but form from two starts this time around has been pretty impressive. Has that mentality you like to see in horses – wanting to win. Super fit now, back against her own age group and she should be flying home.

Interesting to see how smart this boom filly SKEDADDLE is today. Tossed into the deep end a bit following her two smart wins from three starts. Is also at home and weighted to win. But that class rise is a big ask. Still, money has come for her so stable must be confident.

Tip: SELEQUE

 

So many chances in this. I AM CAPITAN has overcome a lot to be here today. And now 3rd up, with a 2kg claim for the very much inform Brock Ryan, he looks to be on speed all the ay and prove very hard to beat. Great 2nd this grade last start. Respect.

The fascinating galloper is MR HUSSILL. He is a rising 6YO and has had just 4 race starts. After he came back from crippling long-term injuries to win a Cl 2 Highway last start, trainer Cam Crockett said he was the best horse he had ever trained. If he’s come on from that he wins again.

SUNRISE RUBY is up from Albury and has a ton of talent too. Has won past two in the bush and G. Boss rides here. Should run boldly on speed.  Big show.

Tip: MR HUSSILL

ZING has a big weight but also a big heart. She just keeps finding a way to run into the money. Again, another astute booking of Brock Ryan to get 2kg off her back makes her a great proposition. Will sit off the speed and come hard. Is very honest. Looks very classy.

LA CHEVALEE has tended to find trouble in her races but last start got clean air and showed what she can do with a dominant win this grade. Beat Zing that day and goes up only 1kg more.

MARGIE BEE has grown a leg since being stepped up in trip and is another one on the rise. Likes to lead. Led all the way this level over 1900m last start in the mud. Sure to run hard here.

Tip: LA CHEVALEE

 

Just put on repeat. Brock Ryan takes 2kg off very impressive last start winner CRIMINAL CODE in this. He is 4th up and just looks to have the talent to rise through the grades.   Gives the impression this will suit.

Speaking of honest gallopers this bloke O’MUDGEE is just that. Not only does he always put in but he is improving every run. Has scored twice this grade from past 4 runs. Must be in your numbers.

BETHENCOURT has been denied narrowly at past two runs in slightly weaker grade but you couldn’t fault the effort. Works home hard and is suited this journey. Looms very large.

Tip: CRIMINAL CODE

Hughie goes onto CATAPULT here who is down in grade and is 3rd up. Looks to run into this race late and does boast better form the these in the past.

This is a bit harder than what LORD ZOULANDER won in last start but he has talent. Also has a mind of his own but gets a 3kg allowance and if he is in the mood, he can take a prominent role in this. Big show.

ZOROCAT is strong and is in form. Stormed home to win a similar race last start. Has been backed overnight too.  Is very fit.

Tip: 1. CATAPULT

MR TIPLA comes up from Melbourne hoping to find a good track and gets that here. Has been racing well and has been racing well in better grade. The 2kg claim will help here and he should be dashing home down centre of the track.

CANASTA has had five runs this campaign, all in this grade and has run boldly every time, placing in four of them. Has to be considered for that but he has been very heavily backed overnight too. Stable seems confident. Big danger.

Down the bottom of the weights WAIRERE FALLS boasts similar stats to Canasta. Jay Mac goes on here and has explosive speed late. Should like track being firm.

Tip: 1. MR TIPLA

 

What a terrific race. NEW ARRANGEMENT has the bad gate but he also has Jay Mac to ride and is coming off a strong indicator for this when 4th last start. Is 3rd up today and should drop in behind the speed before coming hard late.

LE GAI SOLEIL has disappointed at past two, but has the rails draw here and should be suited to the harder track. Is very fit and did win fours runs back so has the talent. Have in your numbers..

MADAM LEGEND beat a weaker field when resuming last start but did it in style. Is on home track here.  Much fitter now. Watch market.

Tip: 1. NEW ARRANGEMENT

 

This guy VAN GIZ can be followed again. The handicapper has caught up with him but his win two runs back was most impressive for a race like this where there will be a lot of speed.  Is very fit and drawn the fence.

REMLAPS GEM is in form. After leading all the way and easily winning a bush Bm74 he stepped up to Open grade at Grafton and was a very game 2nd. Drawn to lead here and is very fit. Big danger.

SIXGUN is a disappointing horse. He tries hard and suggests next start, next start each time he runs. Is down in weight following the claim and is very fit so will be in the finish.

 

Tip: 1. REMLAPS GEM

 

I think you just have to hope SPACEBOY runs at his best here. Certainly being 2nd up he will strip fitter and he ran so bravely last start. Gets a 3kg claim here which is a big, big help.  Will get out and lead and lead all the way.

I AM POWER has raced strongly and consistently in this company at past three runs. No reason he won’t again. Big chance in this.

OUR BELLAGIO MISS is interesting. This is harder than her past two but she has won them with authority. Is in form and is very strong late.

Tip: 1. SPACEBOY

KORDIA looks thrown in here. Perfectly drawn as he likes to drift back early. Last start in the mud which he hates, he made good ground late to finish 5th in a stronger race. Will find the centre of the track and let down powerfully late. Looks a really. good bet. Is 3rd up.

CUBAN ROYALE has that boy Blake Ryan on top and is in great form to. Bad draw though. Big danger but watch betting.

VNIGHT OF POWER seems Australia has had a few of these at the Games this year. This bloke ran 2nd when resuming last start and can sneak a place late here too.
