Horse Racing Tips & Previews – Sandown | Wed 14th July

Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Wednesday’s Sandown Hillside meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 8 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 6

Rail Position: Out 14m entire circuit

Going to have something each way on MURRAMI EXPRESS in this. Won maiden at Geelong two back then beaten less than a length at Flemington last start. That good form for this.

MURA MURA is from the strong Snowden stable and she got her maiden out of the way at Newcastle last start. Comes into this third-up and can measure up to this.

RAMBEAU was placed on heavy ground here two starts back then went to Moe in similar conditions and won. Likely to get wet ground and must include.

HEIR APPARENT is a debutant who showed enough in Flemington jumpout to suggest he has ability. Damien Oliver jumps on board and must respect.

Tip: MURRAMI EXPRESS

CRIMOSA has done nothing wrong winning both his starts on the provincial circuit. Deserves his chance in town and although drawn wide cannot leave out.

CONTINUANCE was placed on the heavy ground at Ballarat two starts back then only got warm late at Caulfield last start. If she sits a bit closer she can surprise these.

REITE DEN BLITZ crossed Bass Strait and was placed at big odds at Caulfield. Has advantage of apprentice claim and would not leave out of multiples.

TWIST OF FURY has won two of three this time in and only poor run was in much better race at Flemington. Back in winnable race here.

Tip: CRIMOSA

LULU DARLING won on the synthetic at Ballarat on debut then she went to Caulfield and chased home strongly into minor placing. Drawn to get ideal run and she can win this.

IT’S CLASSIFIED had no luck when always wide at Geelong last start but she still kept coming and won with something in hand. She looks city class and will figure in this.

CHOISIR LANE powered over leaders once she balanced-up at Ballarat on debut. Had a long break but expect she will have matured and cannot leave her out.

DEMANDO was placed at Swan Hill two starts back then was not disgraced when just out of placing at Caulfield last start. Drawn perfectly and looks a place chance.

Tip: LULU DARLING

LIVINGSTONE FALLS looks ready to win this prep after a couple of strong placings on the provincial circuit. Drawn touch awkwardly but happy to have her on top.

BET RED finished too well to win with something in hand at Swan Hill two starts back then he just overraced last start and could not finish the race off. Barrier a concern but watch late.

HIGHLAND JAKK looked like he would benefit from his run when headed last 100m at Werribee first-up from spell. Placed in two second-up and cannot dismiss.

WORSFOLD finished all over them to win at Werribee first-up from spell. Going to need some luck from his wide gate but no reason he cannot win again.

Tip: LIVINGSTONE FALLS

WHITE HIBISCUS was doing her best work final stages at Lakeside first-up from spell. Sure to be better from the run and she is unbeaten second-up. Craig Williams aboard a bonus.

UNDER MY SPELL gave them a galloping lesson on the synthetic at Ballarat last start. If she brings that form to town she will be right in the mix.

NOVEMBER DREAMING has not been beaten all that far off them in three runs back from spell without threatening. Racing well enough to be included in multiples.

LEALE raced on the pace and she kept grinding away for good tough win at Lakeside last start. Makes own luck rolling forward and rider Alana Kelly is on fire. Cannot dismiss.

Tip: WHITE HIBISCUS

HOSIER looks something special. Import for Team Williams who demolished a maiden field first-up at Bendigo then even more impressive last start when won under a hold. Will win better races than this.

BONDI SANDS was strong winner at Lakeside two starts back then just did not finish off in better race last start. If he can find form from two back he can sneak a place.

FACEMASK relished the heave winning two back then followed up with a Lakeside placing last start. Racing consistently and drawn to get the perfect run in transit.

SWEET KAROLINA just did not finish the race off well enough at Flemington last start but her previous form had been strong in better races than this and she could be the one at odds for exotics.

Tip: HOSIER

LOVEPLANET resumes from a spell. Demolished a maiden field at Yarra Valley two starts back then went to The Valley and won impressively. If forward enough he can get away with this.

INFLUENTIAL JACK is not far off a win this prep. Placed in last couple at Lakeside and although drawn out in the car park cannot leave him out of winning chances.

Tipped EXCELIDA on top here last start but she was just bit flat footed and did not finish race off well enough. Will get the perfect run in transit and she can bounce back.

WICKLOW TOWN chased home steadily in a better race than this last start. He comes into this third-up from spell and although drawn wide is a must for first four players.

Tip: LOVEPLANET

BRAZEN BULLY won his maiden by a big space on the synthetic at Pakenham two starts back then was closing late to just miss behind Deep Speed last Saturday. On the quick back-up and this a nice race for him.

FAST ‘N’ DEEP won two straight at Cranbourne then went to Caulfield and led them up for long way in the straight. Likely to cross and lead and if she gets a cheap sectional will take catching.

DIVINE MR TYCOON resumes from spell at massive odds. Only the one run last time in work when in the betting at Mornington but he disappointed and went to paddock. Going to throw him in exotics.

OUR MUSKETEER relished the heavy to win at Moe first-up from spell but has only battled since. If he can find best form he may sneak into a placing.

Tip: BRAZEN BULLY
