Ballarat R6 – Grade 5 450m
HELLO KEEN (1) was an all the way winner at Ballarat over the 390m last start in best of the night time. He steps ups to the 450m at Ballarat for the first time tonight, but has won over the trip elsewhere. He can fly the lids and lead all the way. INVICTUS ETHAN (2) won well at The Meadows two runs back before struggling at his last run. He is capable of bouncing back.

Wentworth Park R6 – Grade 5 520m
STAR IS BORN (2) is building a good record with seven wins from 12 runs and has the speed to cross the favourite CRUISER MODEL (1) at the start. He can lead all the way. CRUISER MODEL will get the soft run behind the leader and look to close late. I’m happy to take the $4.5+ on offer for STAR IS BORN. The pair can space their rivals.

Cranbourne R10 – Grade 5 311m
RILYNN BALE (1) is one of the most consistent chasers in provincial Victoria and a foolproof beginner. She makes her Cranbourne short course debut tonight and from box 1 she should lead all the way. ROCKET BOY (2) will sit outside the leader and pour the pressure on. He looks well placed for the quinella spot.
