Murray Bridge R5 – Grade 5 395m
ASTON OLENNA (6) has won seven of his 11 starts and comes into this week in great form after a best of the night win last week. He has enough speed to cross to the rail and looks well placed to bring up his eighth career win. Ex-Victorian MASTERMIND KID (1) has enough early speed to hold a good spot early and can sneak up along the rails in the straight. He looks a likely improver. The pair can space the rest of the field.

Maitland R8 – Mixed 3/4 400m
ROXY SUNRISE (4) is an ultra-consistent chaser who has five win and four seconds from ten career runs all over the 400m at Maitland. Returning from a letup tonight, she can find the front in the small field and that will be the race. ELECTRIC DREAMS (8) can begin well and pour on some early pressure to the favourite. She can capitalise if the favourite isn’t at her best.

Launceston R5 – Sires On Ice Heat 515m
ASTON AJOK (3) is thriving in Tasmania, with six wins in a row including two over tonight’s trip. Box 3 is the best draw he has had for a while and I expect him to brain them. Watch the clock! SASSY GALAXY (8) won well two weeks ago and looks well placed to fill the quinella spot.
