The 9-6-3 Canucks are fourth in the Pacific Division but have slumped to four straight losses. That has followed on from a run where they lost just once in regulation time in 13 games.
In the past five days, Vancouver went down to the Blackhawks (5-2) and Jets (4-1) on the road, and the Devils (2-1) at home. They have tallied just 11 goals in their last six games.

The 9-5-3 Predators sit third in the Central Division and finished October with a wet sail, winning four and recording two overtime losses in the space of six games.
But they were pounded 9-4 by the Avalanche and went down 2-1 in OT to the Sharks in their last two, both on the road.

The Predators have won four of their last five against the Canucks, including two of their last three in Vancouver.
Last season the Canucks prevailed 5-3 at home, before the Predators chalked up a pair of one-goal wins in Nashville.
Despite their recent downturn, the Canucks are the superior defensive outfit, allowing just 2.56 goals per game. The Predators are giving up 3.06 goals a night.
But Vancouver are 4-1-2 at home this season. The Predators are 3-3-1 on the road.
There’s little between these sides and the under looks a sound play with the goals drying up for both sides recently. But the Canucks shape as the best chance of nabbing a Best of the Day victory.
