Dallas are gunning for their first Stanley Cup Finals appearance since the 1999-2000 season. Vegas are trying to keep their hopes of a second Stanley Cup Finals berth in three seasons afloat.
John Klingberg’s first period goal was enough for the Stars to secure a 1-0 win in Game 1. Anton Khudobin recorded his maiden post-season shutout with 25 saves.
The Golden Knights hit back 3-0 in Game 2, with all three goals coming in the second period. Paul Stastny scored the opening goal and had an assist, while Robin Lehner pulled off 24 saves in a perfect night in front of the net.
The Western Conference rivals went into overtime in Game 3 after the Golden Knights twice came from behind.
But the Stars claimed a vital 3-2 victory when Alexander Radulov scored a brilliant winner just 31 seconds into OT.
