Final thoughts: The Best of the Day preview breaks down an NBA showdown between Eastern Conference heavyweights Milwaukee Bucks and slumping West outfit Sacramento Kings.
The 17-13 Bucks snapped a five-game slide on Saturday (AEDT) with a 98-85 victory over the Thunder. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (29 pts, 19 reb, 8 ast) was outstanding in the drought-breaker.

It was the second game in a row – and only the second time this season – the Bucks have been kept to under 100 points. Nevertheless, they still boast the second-most points per game in the NBA.
After winning eight of their previous nine games, the Kings are on a six-game skid. Each of the defeats were at home and by eight-plus margins. The Kings have scored 110 points in nine straight games, but they are conceding more points per game than any team in the league.
De’Aaron Fox has been their star, averaging 22.7 points and 7 assists. Marvin Bagley III was their best in a 122-114 loss to the Bulls yesterday.

The Bucks are on a 10-match winning streak against the Kings, whose last win in the rivalry occurred in February 2016.
Last season Milwaukee won 127-106 away and 123-111 at home – despite Antetokounmpo scoring just 13 points at Sacramento and missing the latter clash.
Jrue Holiday remains on the sidelines for Milwaukee. Sacramento duo Richaun Holmes and Harrison Barnes have been listed as questionable.
The Bucks are 10-4 at home, while the Kings are 5-6 on the road. The Bucks’ last four wins at home came via 13-plus margins – and another Best of the Day blowout looms as Giannis and co. search for some momentum against a Kings team on a 24-hour turnaround.
