Adelaide United are fourth with nine wins and three draws from their 18 games. But they will climb to second spot with a win here.
Sixth-placed Western United – who have a game in hand – have eight wins and three draws in the bank. The Geelong-based outfit will join Adelaide on 30 points if they came out on top.

Adelaide put together a six-match winning streak in February-March but are out to regain some momentum after winning just one of their last five.
The Reds scored first against Wellington on Sunday but conceded a 97th-minute penalty in a 2-1 loss.
Seven so far this season for the Captain, @StefanMauk. 👏

Western United, meanwhile, are hitting their straps; the sophomore club has four wins and a draw from their last six outings.
They put away Newcastle 2-0 at AAMI Park on Monday night.

The ledger is all square between the teams after three encounters. Last season Adelaide grabbed a 4-3 win in Geelong – featuring braces from Nikola Mileusnic and Besart Berisha – before Western United romped to a 5-1 victory in Adelaide with Berisha scoring another two goals.
The clubs played out a scoreless draw in the 2020-21 A-League season opener.
Western United have struggled on the road this season, recording two wins (against cellar dwellers Newcastle and Melbourne Victory) and five losses.
Adelaide are 6-1-1 at home, with their only defeat coming against Perth in early-February.
Nevertheless, the hosts look a little under the odds as $2.00 Best of the Day favourites. I’m expecting a tough low-scorer with Western United conceding just three goals in their last five games.
