That’s 16 weeks of the NFL regular season done; one to go. Week 17 is shaping up as a beauty with a handful of games set to define 2019 seasons.
Niners Win A Game Late
Last week, we said the San Francisco 49ers’ close losses were “a little bit of a worry“.
In Week 16, they produced an incredible late-game drive to beat the Los Angeles Rams 34-31.
Presented with a third-and-16 in the final drive of the game, Jimmy Garoppolo found Kendrick Bourne for 18 yards. Soon faced with another third-and-16 situation, Emmanual Sanders took advantage of a terrible lack of concentration to find 46 yards and put the 49ers into field goal position.
3rd and 16. Game on the line.

From there, Robbie Gould calmly slotted the 33-yard field goal to win. It’s a timely reminder of just how good this team is and why they’re on the second line of betting to win the Super Bowl at $6.
Seahawks Send S.O.S To Lynch
The Seattle Seahawks had already lost C.J. Prosise and Rashaad Penny for the season before Chris Carson went down against the Arizona Cardinals. It’s forced Pete Carroll into a hole, and he wants Marshawn Lynch to dig them out.
Lynch hasn’t played in the NFL for over a year. He hasn’t played for the Seahawks since 2016. However, Carroll says he’s been “working really hard” and might be able to add something to the injury-raved team.
He’ll need to exceed expectations in their last regular season game. The Seahawks are playing for the number one seed in the NFC as $2.42 and +3 underdogs against the 49ers in Week 17.
Ravens Sew Up Favourites Tag
With the 1st seed in the AFC already locked in for the first time in franchise history, the Baltimore Ravens have the opportunity to rest a few starters in Week 17.
Ravens will not play Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram, Earl Thomas, Marshal Yanda and Brandon Williams against the Steelers on Sunday. Time to get ready for Divisional Round.

The week off for key players will only add strength to the Ravens’ $3.30 to win the Super Bowl. They’ve pulled out to be considerable favourites following their 31-15 win over the Cleveland Browns with Lamar Jackson sure to be recognised as the NFL’s Most Valuable Player.
Dominance In The AFC East
The New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills 24-17 to claim their 11th consecutive AFC East title in Week 16.
They’ve not been their best towards the back end of this season, but as we know, the Patriots can really turn it on in January and beyond.
It all has to come crashing down in New England eventually. Is this the year their playoff dominance ends?
$6.50 is available for those that think Tom Brady and Bill Belichick can link up for one more.
Cowboys Playoff Picture
Has a team disappointed more than the Dallas Cowboys this season?
Once at $18 to win the Super Bowl, the Cowboys are way out at $61 and need to beat the Washington Redskins in Week 17 just to be in with a sniff of making the playoffs. Even if the Cowboys do win, they’re relying on the New York Giants to beat the Philadelphia Eagles as $2.48 and +4.5 underdogs to feature in the post-season.
NFL Against The Spread
We’ve got a three-way tie at the top of the ATS rankings heading into Week 17, but the Chicago Bears are locked in as the worst team for punters this NFL season.
