Tuesday’s NBA preview breaks down the feature game between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers, along with NBA tips for all other matches being played today.

History: Played 141: Celtics 96 V Clippers 45
Last meeting: February 9, 2019: Clippers 123 d Celtics 112 at TD Garden
Final Thoughts: The Boston Celtics are aiming to complete an unbeaten road stand when they take on the in-form LA Clippers.
The 41-26 Celtics are fifth in the Eastern Conference and finished February on a four-game losing streak. But they have won three straight on the road against the Warriors – a 27-point thrashing – Kings and Lakers.
Kyrie Irving put some recent dissatisfaction aside to post 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in a commanding display against LeBron’s Lakers.
The 38-29 Clippers are eighth in the West but remain a real chance of pushing for a top-four finish. They are currently on a four-game tear, beating the Kings, Knicks, Lakers and – most impressively – the Thunder.
Invaluable sixth man Lou Williams racked up 40 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists when OKC came to town.
The Clippers have won eight of their last 11 against the Celtics, and five of the last six as the home team.
The Clippers chalked up a 123-112 victory in Boston last month, coming from 21 points down at halftime. Danilo Gallinari starred with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the Clippers, while Montrezl Harrell top-scored off the bench with 21.
The Celtics’ recent away streak belies a modest 17-16 season record on the road. The Clippers are 21-12 at Staples Center this season, winning their last five straight at the venue.
The teams’ last four clashes have featured margins of at least 10 points. But this one promises to be a nail-biter – and with Irving finding form, the Celtics look good value to edge out the hosts.
