In what is set to be a great game at the home of Aussie Rules at the MCG, the Demons and Blues are set to put together a masterpiece of a game. Melbourne has the wood over the Blues, winning eight of their last nine. However, Carlton should not be underestimated. Carrying the underdog tag and having the likes of Sam Walsh, Harry McKay, Patrick Cripps and Charlie Curnow, expect the game to be relatively close in favour of Melbourne.

Jake Riccardi has been an underrated performer for the Giants this season and hasn’t received the attention some players from the bigger clubs have. However, that hasn’t stopped him from being a weapon away from home. Riccardi has kicked 3+ goals in each of GWS’s last four away matches.

Unfortunately, it looks as if the GWS Giants’ storied run will come to an end this weekend. Taking on the Power at home, the South Australian side has an incredible record at home this season (10-2) and has beaten GWS by over 50 points in the last two home meetings against their opponents.
