Bolting In – The Wrap Up – Tattersall’s Tiara Review

Host Matt Stewart is joined by racing experts Adam McGrath & Chris Roots each week to review the weekend’s races across the Autumn Carnival. From standout performances to the horses to follow, they’ll break down every feature and give you their take on the stories that matter.

Matty Stewart, Adam McGrath and Chris Roots wrap up the final Group 1 meeting of the Australian racing season on The Wrap Up, with Eagle Farm hosting a quality Tattersall’s Tiara Day card and delivering a memorable finish to the Queensland Winter Carnival. The headline act was the Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara, where Splash Back produced a powerful finish for Grahame Begg and Jordan Childs to claim the final Group 1 of the season, defeating Savagery Vibe and Gerringong in a race that was as competitive as the market suggested.

The boys begin by breaking down the Tiara , where several of the leading chances had their opportunities, but it was Splash Back who secured the right run and unleashed the turn of foot she’d shown throughout her campaign. Beyond the feature, the boys works through the rest of the Eagle Farm card, which produced several standout performances. Asterix continued Chris Waller’s strong carnival with a win in the Tattersall’s Cup, Sun God proved too strong in the Tattersall’s Mile, while Yellow Brick closed out the day with victory in the W.J. Healy Stakes. Earlier on the card, promising juvenile The Machine Gun took out the Tattersall’s Stakes and Zuleika delivered in the Tattersall’s Gold Crown.

With the 2025/2026 racing season now officially wrapped up, Adam, Chris and Matty review the biggest moments from the year and capping off another huge season of Australian racing.
