While the Roosters would be considered the favourite if they lined-up with a fully fit team, they have lost to many key players due to injuries or suspensions which is destined to provide their opponents with an easy win.

Competing in his 300th NRL game this weekend, it’s hard to go past former Australia and Origin centre Michael Jennings crossing over the line for a try. In his prime, Jennings was regarded as one of the most talented and watchable centres and he will b looking to turn back the clock.

The Storm are coming off a big win over the Broncos, while the Bulldogs are coming off an injury-riddled game against the Roosters. With multiple players out and other not up to full fitness – and could be replaced late – it’s hard to imagine the Bulldogs remaining competitive throughout the match.

Back from a concussion, winger Josh Addo-Carr will lace up the boots against his former team once again. The ‘Fox’ always has great games against his former club as he aims to get the wood over his ex-teammates.

In the third instalment of the ‘Battle of Brisbane’, the Broncos will have the upper hand heading into the match, with The Dolphins having to change up their team due to a plethora of injuries they sustained last week against the Wests Tigers.

Recalled into the Dolphins team due to Herbie Farnworth’s injury, Tesi Niu will look to take full advantage of his chance to cement a spot as he faces his former team.

While the game will be a blockbuster between two dominant teams, the Warriors are near unbeatable at home and are coming off a superb victory against the Rabbitohs away from home and without multiple star in their line-up.

Although the Warriors are clear favourites to walk away with the two points, it’s hard to see it being a blowout victory. The Sea Eagles are coming off a good win against the Penrith Panthers in their own right and won’t be intimidated by them.

If there is one team in desperate need of a victory, it is the Parramatta Eels. The Eels have not only struggled to register wins but have lost dramatically and are still without star halfback Mitchell Moses.

The primary goalkicker for the Cowboys, centre Valentine Holmes has not only kicked goals with ease but always seems to be able to cross the try line for a four-pointer.

Not only will Jye Gray make his NRL first-grade debut this weekend, entering the team for Latrell Mitchell, but he also recently re-signed with the club until the end of 2026, earlier in the week. The young fullback will be aiming to repay the club in the best way possible, by scoring a try.

Sitting at the bottom of the ladder with a record of 1-4, the Rabbitohs are considered outsiders for the match and will look to turn things around. Due to the number of star players in their squad, don’t be surprised if they manage to cause an upset.

In their first game of the season, they are considered favourites, but it’s hard to go past the Wests Tigers, who will take on the Dragons at home. Coach Benji Marshall will be hoping to continue his good run and add another win to his record.

While the Tigers may walk away with the victory, a blowout is extremely unlikely. Expect the game to go down to the wire, with the Tigers narrowly taking the two points.

After entering the team as a replacement for Albert Hopoate two weeks ago, James Schiller has not shied away from the tryline. Scoring in the previous two games, expect the streak to continue in Round 6.

Awarded his NRL debut during the week, Chevy Stewart will run out for the first time in the NRL on Sunday. An impressive junior, Stewart is a former U19s NSW Blues representative and is regarded as the future of the Green Machine side.
