Finals Week 3 Preview

It’s hard to see any team beating the Penrith Panthers. The back-to-back premiers are unstoppable and are on track to enter their fourth Grand Final in four years as they look to be the first team since the 1980s to win three in a row. Heading into the Grand Final expect a dominant performance from the home side who will receive Jarome Luai and Izack Tago back from injury.

Both teams enter the clash as attacking powerhouses. Led by Jarome Luai and Nathan Cleary the Panthers attack is astounding and turns their opponents inside and out, while Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes will lead the Storm attack in a very entertaining and high-scoring game.

Playing at home in front of their fans, the Brisbane Broncos are virtually unstoppable, especially given their line-up includes representative players Haas, Walsh, Staggs, Cobbo, Carrigan, Flegler and Adam Reynolds. Expect them to get off to a quick start and not stop their attacking flair throughout the entirety of the match-up.

While the Brisbane Broncos should easily walk away as winners in this clash, don’t expect the New Zealand Warriors to give up at any point during the match. Despite conceding a heavy loss to the Penrith Panthers in week one of the finals, they didn’t give up until the final full-time whistle. This saw hooker Wayde Egan cross over the line for a four-pointer.
