An exciting 2025 NFL season kicks into Week 15, and we’re diving into five of the best bets from around the league.
Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have exceeded every expectation to be among the AFC contenders after Week 15. They put themselves in the conversation with a win over the Buffalo Bills back in Week 5 and haven’t lost since. Meanwhile, the Bills are where they should be at 9-4 to be coming good at the right time.
We’re going to learn a lot about both teams in this one, but we go back to what we know to back the Under.
The running game profiles as the most likely path to victory for either team. The Bills offence is among the best in the NFL to be 5th in points per game and 2nd in yards per game. Most notably, their running attack is ranked the best in the league behind Josh Allen and James Cook. However, the Bills struggle themselves to defend the run. It’s an area the Patriots will look to exploit, particularly with how well the Bills have defended the pass. The Bills rank 7th in QB rating allowed but 29th in rushing yards per carry.
With two good teams going at it and looking to run the ball and the clock, 49.5 points is a lot for the Over to clear.
Bet Now Under 49.5 Points @ $1.88Minnesota Vikings @ Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings come into Week 15 following very different outcomes in Week 14. Dallas fell to the Detroit Lions, but didn’t look all that bad in the process. They’re still one of the best offensive teams in the NFL at the very least. Meanwhile, the Vikings snapped a four-game losing streak with a 31-0 win over the Washington Commanders.
This is a buy-low on the Cowboys and sell-high on the Vikings situation.
Selling of the Vikings is made easier by the fact J.J. McCarthy played the best game of his career last week. Minny managed to overcome their 29th-ranked EPA per play to pile up points on a sorry Washington outfit, but face a tough task in repeating the effort in this one.
While the Cowboys defence leaves a lot to be desired in their Super Bowl LX chances, they do top the NFL in pressure rate, hurries and quarterback hits.
The hype surrounds the Vikings, but this is a good Dallas team playing a rookie quarterback that is desperate to take hits and won’t have any problem prompting them here.
Dallas typically wins through their offence, but the defence can make the difference against McCarthy.
Bet Now Cowboys -5.5 @ $1.90Arizona Cardinals @ Houston Texans
The Houston Texans may have ended the Kansas City Chiefs dynasty last week while winning their fifth game on the bounce.
The Arizona Cardinals, on the other hand, offer little without Kyler Murray and have lost five straight. Scoring only 17 points per game across their last two, Atlanta faces a Houston defence allowing only 16 points per game all season.
Houston’s defence ranks 1st in total defence and scoring defence, while 4th-ranked against the pass and 5th against the run. When you’re holding Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes to a combined 0 touchdowns and five interceptions, the defence is doing something right.
Houston Texans DEFENSE through 13 games:
🏈 1st in ppg allowed (16.0)
🏈 1st in ypg allowed (266.3)
🏈 1st in passer rating allowed (69.8)
🏈 THE ONLY defense in NFL with more INT (15) than TD passes allowed (12) pic.twitter.com/EztB1OBCkX— HoopsQV (@qutballin) December 8, 2025
While C.J. Stroud hasn’t been at his very best this season, he’s starting to put it together. He has a prime opportunity to play himself into form against the Cardinals, too. Arizona ranks 26th in sacks and 21st in QB rating allowed. Stroud will have his way in Week 15 and can become the fourth quarterback in six games to hang 41+ points on the Cardinals.
Bet Now Texans -9.5 @ $1.90Detroit Lions @ Los Angeles Rams
The Detroit Lions beat Dallas 44-30 in Thursday Night Football and have the benefit of 10 days rest ahead of a game crucial for playoff positioning. Meanwhile, the LA Rams thumped the Cardinals with Matthew Stafford once again producing at an MVP level.
Both teams come into a huge game in impressive form.
We’ve made a habit out of fading the Lions in big spots over the last three NFL seasons, and while this presents as a big spot against the Rams, they come in as underdogs.
#Lions QB Jared Goff is entering his 4th game vs. the Rams, including playoffs, since being traded from LA to Detroit prior to the 2021 season and says it "feels like a long time ago." With both teams elite offensively, taking the points is the play. Stafford might be an MVP contender for the Rams to be 10-3, but the Lions are one of the few that can keep up with the ball.
LA leads the league in plays of 20-plus yards and 30-plus yards while Detroit sits just behind them in both at 2nd. Detroit is averaging a league-high 6.5 yards per play since Week 8. Meanwhile, LA’s 6.3 yards per play in the same span ranks 2nd.
We can keep going.
LA is second in points per drive (2.76) with Detroit in 3rd (2.69).
The numbers line up across the board.
With the Lions leading the NFL in scoring at 30.3 points per game and turning it over only 0.6 times per game, they can keep this one close enough to cover if not win it straight up at $3.10.
Bet Now Lions +5.5 @ $1.93Green Bay Packers @ Denver Broncos
The Green Bay Packers started the NFL season as one of the best teams in the league before a mid-season slump saw them fall out of the Super Bowl limelight. However, with four wins on the trot including an NFC North sweep, they’ve quietly moves to 9-3-1 and are on the up.
The Denver Broncos, on the other hand, have had their record doubted all season. They’ve won ten games in a row, but have done so by small margins against somewhat weak opposition overall.
A team being “due” is a poor way to predict performance, but the Packers profile well as the team to trigger the expected Broncos regression. Most notably, this is Denver’s first game of the season against a Top 10 DVOA defence.
Bo Nix will be tested. He’s answered most of the questions all season despite ranking 18th in EPA+CPOE which his 6.3 yards per attempt and 63.2% completion percentage rank below average. The questions will be more difficult this week, though.
